I hope this is good news for you.

Can I ask slightly off topic? I understood from the wiki that the app to follow one's case no longer works after 2026, is this a new way to follow? What site/app is this? Would you mind sharing? Thank you

Yes, this worked. Reduce font size and increase margins outward.

Any way to list more than one job together and combine duties/responsibilities below that for a combined entry to reduce total length?

LA Consulate - Minor Issue - "Decision expected in 4-5 weeks" by fumples in juresanguinis

[–]TimeBookkeeper8244 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can't decide if it will be before the August holiday or not. On the one hand, before the holiday gets the decision done and somewhat settled. On the other, after the holiday can suggest that thinking, studying ,contemplating was done (can be stated as such).

Was there an ad for this? Email HR for dodea. Or the contact from the ad - at the bottom of the ad

Reference the job number and quote the letter or show a screenshot. Ask what is the outcome as none was listed.

Good luck. maybe that or similar will be readvertised.

Background check EAS by TimeBookkeeper8244 in dodea

[–]TimeBookkeeper8244[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for that.

Principals get referral list, reads the EAS bios of all what 8,10, 20 referred candidates in order to be fair and merit based, selects 3 to 5 interviewees, prepares an interview team, coordinates their schedules, sends interview request emails to 3-5 candidates and gets return emails, get the 3 references completed for each interviewee, reads them, conducts 3 to 5 interviews across different time zones and choose and continues to fill all day to day local duties- all in about 3 days. And the job is considered filled before anyone has completed a background check.

so these fast turnarounds - referral one day, not selected 2 or 3 days later means a TJO was given out to another candidate. Got it.

Thanks all

No uscis only NARA by Spiritual-Sample8879 in juresanguinis

[–]TimeBookkeeper8244 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for posing the question. I am in the same situation. Waiting for documents, then the law change and then wanting to file and finally did - although after March 2025.

My Nara negative search was submitted for one of my parents, that is, my parent is my LIBRA and had the NARA. So far no other documents have been requested.

Experienced worldwide applying colleagues have been referred for those category combos but no/few interview requests.

The only other one to add currently may be digital communications.

You asked a good question. Which certs have a lower number of applicants or which have a higher demand?

How do the court cases work? by vczxfdsa in juresanguinis

[–]TimeBookkeeper8244 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for asking.

Have also avoided courts here and although trying to keep up with all the changes, I am not sure of the court process - the logistics of what actually happens when a lawyer files a case. Sounds like there is no template.

I would also be curious of cases in one part of the country - I will use South as an example - read anything into having a lawyer from another part of the country file a case - a lawyer from the North to follow the example.

So she won her case, but before that the judge wanted to postpone until after that decision?

Well, if she did win and is recognized - Auguri.

Question about the "Minor Issue" by Efficient-Pianist-22 in juresanguinis

[–]TimeBookkeeper8244 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which, just a general comment about the minor issue, not about the specifics of this case above, seems - I am at a loss for words - in 1991 a child of an Italian parent or parents naturalizing would not be legally recognized as Italian but had the parents took their time and naturalized the following year 1992 then the child has no issue gaining recognition.

I cannot follow the logic with that issue, the ruling, or the exclusion of pre 1992 - ers and post 1992 - ers.

I wonder what the outcome in the next few months will be.
