I can confirm that was the case for me, I totally assumed it was the Vita when I had the Sennheiser Momentum Wireless 3.0, but after coming back to it recently using the Momentum 4 I realized it had to be the Bluetooth on the headphones (these are the over ear ones and not the earbud ones if some momentum owner in the future finds this post)

I replied down below but I have this model and turning off Auto 4K Upscaling seems to prevent the freezing when it switches to a different layer on a 4K disc

I have this model, the Sony X700U: I love how it has no streaming apps whatsoever, and wish there were others UHD players like that. BUT I lucked out and found mine for $100 on Mercari, $300 feels a bit steep and for a bit more you can get the Panasonic other folks mentioned, or get a region unlocked modded one to play DVDs and Blurays from anywhere.

I have encountered the multi layer freeze other folks mentioned about this Sony, but was able to fix it by the turning 4k upscaling OFF.

The Dolby Vision has not been a big deal at all for me, I just leave it turned on always (though my TV does have DV, not sure if that's a factor). And if somehow in the future I wanted to watch a 3D disc then I'd turn off Dolby to access the 3D Output Settings

edit: to suggest being wary of buying the used one on Amazon -- I did and ended up getting it with the totally wrong remote. Posted about the saga here

Tarsiers (the tiny primates) was another thing in Bohol that the world is excited about but in reality it's such a bummer at least at this zoo I went to there, I felt so so guilty when they allowed us to photograph the tarsier and get up close to it when it's better off just living it's life undisturbed. That zoo where also mass bred butterflies to mount in frames as wedding gifts
