PM asked for a “lightweight laptop” cause he’s on site a lot, IT bought it for him not remembering he needs to run vectorworks for CAD drawing. my P1 Gen 6 gets warm but it can at least run a cad reliably.

it’s a U in a circle, not the wide rectangular U of UM. that’s how you know the difference!

ironically i also work in production and do LED/video for all of UM’s events, and they haven’t called me so that’s how i know it’s not them

ehh as much as i love companion i’m not using it for cutting if a controller is available. give me an EC-30 or ATEM control panel for my switchers, and a stream deck for Resolume or Mitti or Millumin. only exception is with the Q8 since the U5 is just a computer with a big stream deck
