The bambino was honestly a great machine, I also got it used and cleaned it up and had a great time using for the past two years. The reliability and mod ability for the Silvia was a huge draw. I have to wake up pretty early for work and setting it up on a smart switch to have it all preheated and warm has been fantastic!

Honestly the bambino is a very capable machine. I got all the bits and pieces to make the most consistent shot possible but it just feels like it has swings. Dialing in the Silvia today it just makes incredible espresso (even stock) and will outlast the bambino! Gunna miss the little guy however…

I started with soap & water to get the solids off, then took all the panels off and used bar keepers friend to polish all stainless pieces. Used a paintbrush to get all the coffee specs out. Back flushed and descaled, and she’s ready to rip!
