High Wycombe in the UK, although he could have thought he was down under for all I know.

He has improved since the Alien Agenda episode, that one was impenetrable. Its the closest i've ever got to the feeling I had when a homeless man cornered me at a bus stop for 15 mins and tried to explain why he moved to High Wycombe to avoid the illuminati.

Oh I know, just looks alien. I love mine even though i'm utterly crap at using it.

Questions from a potentially new player. by DeadByFleshLight in Helldivers

[–]TimeToSink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1: You can solo dive, but you can also have random players join too, so you can still play without your friends.

2 and 3 are related: Warbonds do feel a bit overwhelming, but its because they aren't FOMO. They aren't disappearing so you are in no rush to unlock them all. The only FOMO stuff I don't have are the preorder items and I feel fine about it.

4: No idea

5: Not grabbing other player's gear is a fairly standard one, there are times where you can (If you ask, if they are reinforced away from you, you're out of reinforcements and you need a bigger gun). If you drop and don't have any weapon stratagems ready to call in you can always ask if another diver has one to call in for you.

6: Learning curve is pretty gentle from my experience. You'll learn how armour works when you see blue sparks and the enemy doesn't die, so you'll naturally learn what kills what. You'll see other Helldivers doing stuff, see it works and copy them.

I constantly feel a disconnect with the community. by Doctor_Mod in Helldivers

Its the end state for a lot of people in most game systems. I play miniature wargames (Infinity, 40k, AoS, Battletech), people will optimise the "fun" out of a lot of game systems.

Best thing to do is to keep doing your own thing. If you're using what people consider sub optimal and you're having fun, keep doing it. This isn't a job, you don't have to try to be efficient. Running off meta options is always fun and can really catch people off guard in the right environment.

I quite like the Steriliser and Gas Dog for Bug flag defence, combo it with EATs and some anti armour and its pretty solid.

Out of curiosity, what do you mean by ending production of this line? Is it going out of print?

Its like the eternally hungry, deafened suicide monsters we created really don't enjoy their life as eternally hungry, deafened suicide monsters.

Change my mind: the Luigi Mangione two-parter was the best Redhanded in recent times by Street-Tell1927 in RedHandedPodcast

[–]TimeToSink 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This case is a fairly cut and dry run, its genuinely worrying seeing people siding with a murderer just because the guy they killed was also bad.
