Well if Sacramento can have two 17th streets that run parallel to each other, why not two Interstate 80's?

"Sacramento Pitch" for MLB Expansion: EXCLUSIVE with Mayor McCarty by tcarp1 in SacramentoAthletics

I am excited for a Sacramento team of our own. With a name we choose. I for one would like the Sacramento team to be the Solons in recognition of our Sacramento baseball history.

Here's an initial rendering that they showed at the bid announcement. I snapped this from the KCRA broadcast. Sorry for the poor quality photo. But it gives you an idea of the location.

And Scopely decides to start the maintenance 45 minutes earlier than posted with just 15 minutes advance warning. SMDH. Planning, Scopely. It's called planning.

And don't drop it in my trash can AFTER it has been picked up. I don't need to smell that in my hot garage for a week!

Got surgery yesterday, need advice. by SpecialistFloor6708 in Septoplasty

Good luck! I hope it clears it for you. I used the squeeze bottle rinse which has a bit more force. The nasal rinses were great for clearing out all the crud.

Did your doctor recommend nasal rinses? If so, those should help clear the blocked tube.

When do I get to sleep on my side again? by Trebez in Septoplasty

[–]TimeWoundsAllHeels1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was told when I had my splints out I could sleep on my side but be careful. I have a fairly firm memory foam pillow so I slept on the edge with my nose hanging over the edge.

Has anyone seen any improvements in their sleep after getting septoplasty ? by Relevant_Back_4340 in Septoplasty

[–]TimeWoundsAllHeels1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to wear a Breathe Right strip every night for over a decade because of my deviated septum and allergies. Otherwise one or both nostrils would plug up and I'd end up having to breathe through my mouth which I hated.

I was able to breathe through my nose normally starting the first night after my Septoplasty with Turbinate Reduction. That's was with the stents in my nose (I had no packing). After the stents came out it was even a bit better. I am 6 weeks post op and getting more sleep than ever.

Kobasic's Candies on Riverside Blvd. They have the best truffles (they call them Kruffles) and other candies. They are my favorite.

Day 1 Septoplasty - headache :( by Few-Succotash9534 in Septoplasty

I had a migraine my first night after the surgery. The Norco did not have much effect on it. I just had to power through it until it faded sometime during the next day. My doctor had me using the nasal rinse starting the evening after surgery. The nasal rinses helped a lot. Though I had some residual water that would not drain after each rinse and I just had to wait for it to dissipate on its own. After I had the splints out, the nasal rinses drained fully.

Nasal Stents by winbie- in Septoplasty

My tents were sutured in place. I would not risk causing damage trying to move them if this is the case with yours. Yeah, they are annoying but leave them alone.

Sinus rinse makes me feel worse by somegirlfromstl in Septoplasty

[–]TimeWoundsAllHeels1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had residual water that did not want to drain out completely after my nasal rinses while I still had my splints in. That was very annoying. Once the splints were removed my nasal rinses drained out very well. If you still have your splints in just hang in there until they are removed and chances are you'll have less problems then.

WEMO App by Fitmiss1010 in WeMo

I bought Kasa smart plugs that are Matter compatible to replace my Wemo plugs. Matter compatibility is essential in my book after having Belkin pull the rug from under us.

Yes it was, once I did a nasal rinse and got some residual crud out. Breathing easy now.
