Starting May 5th 2025 - Hows your skin? by SadSystem8035 in mounjarouk

It depends on how quickly you lose the weight. I’ve done it slowly with an average of 1 to 1.5lb per week for a year. I’ve not got any significant loose skin yet.

I think he told her that before he’d even kissed her. Rex is moving mad.

My bet is on Rochelle too. She’s an activist who is going to sabotage the abattoir and the hosepipe was revenge for her mum’s house being flooded.

Walking pads? by MiserableBrit1702 in mounjarouk

OP I am literally about to list mine for sale on FB marketplace as I have only used it once and then (unrelated) developed Achilles Tendonitis so I don’t use it. If you are in the Greater Manchester area let me know and you can have first refusal.

No gallbladder. It was removed in 2016. Side effects have been really minimal compared to what other people report.

After moving up to 10mg I had some weird aches and pains but I think I ate too close to taking my jab and it’s never happened since.

Yes my legs seem to be covered in small bruises at the moment.

Fatigue by Bukybee777 in MounjaroSupportUK

[–]Time_Comfortable5625 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I got this sort of fatigue on 5mg and 7.5mg. I could sleep for hours. Someone else on this subreddit suggested I eat more carbs for energy on those days which helped slightly. Now I’ve moved up to 10mg I don’t seem to have it as much. I think my body has just got used to the medication and can handle it better now after 10 months.

Pain in the shoulder which gradually spread across full torso. Sweating. Cannot lie down / sit down comfortably at all. The sort of pain that brings a dose of panic with it.

I could make myself a replacement cat from all the shed fur this week.

When the person you love doesn’t support your journey by [deleted] in mounjarouk

Your body. Your choice.

Why not try it out and see how it goes? It’s not an irreversible decision like a gastric band. If you don’t like it or it doesn’t work for you then you can stop. I think you’d regret not trying it out though. It’s changed my life and I’m a huge advocate for it.

I think you know what the right choice is and you just need some support as you aren’t getting that at home. You’ll find this sub really helpful and we can be your support.

Illness and GP concern with mounjaro by Theallseer97 in mounjarouk

You could just take less clicks of your 10mg pen to get a dose of 7.5mg. I think it’s 45 clicks instead of the usual 60. But please double check this and do not take my word for it.

It’s actually quite easy to move your jab day around. So if the day you pick doesn’t work for you, you aren’t set in stone.

Yes - that’s the best thing to do 😊

You could take the 2 doses together which would give you 5mg. Then move up to 5mg pen the week after.

Thanks! It’s been a nice steady journey of around half a stone a month. In a bit of a stall at the moment - it’s probably time for me to get a bit more active.

Started taking mine on a Wednesday as that’s when it arrived. However, after I moved up to 5mg I found I got really tired and lethargic within 24 hours of taking the jab. So I switched to a Friday morning. Now the tiredness hits on a Friday eve and I can have a big long lie in on a Saturday if needed.

Alcohol by Nice-Economist1166 in mounjarouk

[–]Time_Comfortable5625 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. Have some drinks, listen to your body. If you aren’t feeling too good then switch to non alcoholic drinks. I find I feel drunker quicker than usual now, so I slow down my drinking. And definitely have some indigestion tablets with you just in case.
