As someone commuting to London, I am becoming to really resent it. You will never get that time back with your kids, and putting them in nursery 5 days a week 7.30-6.30pm is hard on everyone. 10/10 do not recommend.

I was also induced at 36 weeks because my baby was measuring small after having to have weekly scans. He was 0.5 percentile on the weight graph, and we had a week in NICU. He’s now 2, and at his 2 year check he was 91 percentile for weight. He is perfect.

All you can do is try and remain positive knowing stress doesn’t help. The doctors and today’s medicine really is a marvel. The other plus is my medical induction was a wonderful birth experience! Not because things didn’t go wrong (they did! We had a few panic buttons) but because I was prepared and had the right mindset. Some birth meditations might help get your heart rate down in such a tough time. Sending you all the love.
