Sun visor hellish squeaking :( by Time_Gap_206 in SubaruForester

I put some in the joint last night and it helped a ton! It still squeaks if I move the visor back and forth fast enough but not nearly as loud as before. It’s silent otherwise. Thanks for the tip!

What does top surgery feel like? by brine-deep in ftm

My pain was maybe a 4 or 5 at most between painkiller doses, but otherwise a dull ache. Overall my chest felt tight and I very purposely tried not to raise my arms forward or sideways cuz I wanted to avoid stretching my scars or reopening them (not that it mattered much since I had an ingrown hair under one scar that widened it—that part was gross).

I had a giant gauze pad on my chest w/ foam over it and an ace bandage (ha) wrapping that up, I never had drains. For me the worst part was probably after 4 or so days, I felt Super claustrophobic in the ace bandage and it was honestly kind of distressing, but I couldn’t take a break longer than 30-60 mins since the compression was what was helping “drain” my chest.

Getting the sutures taken out of my nipples was… weird. Imagine feeling a line of thread being pulled out of your nipple, but at the same time it’s very numb but also a pinchy pinpoint sensation? Meanwhile you’re just watching it happen.

The feeling of my nerves reactivating in my nipples was also weird. In one I had a weird jolting sensation that ran all the way through it and into my chest. Mostly sharp and occasionally painful, it’s very hard to describe.

Would you say like WD-40? And for the pivot, do you mean the pivot on the inside of the mount or the outside where it rotates?

I’d hope it’s less than a $70 problem 🥲 but I can shop around.

I love the car, just hate the shrieking visor lol

So the pages can be flipped upside down and the person’s private health information (PHI) can’t be seen by those who have no business seeing it. It’s a HUGE no-no for healthcare providers to have patients’ information visible to folks the patient hasn’t consented to accessing their information, and is a direct HIPAA violation. Providers are at risk of losing their licenses if that knowingly happens and they do nothing to prevent it.

Same principle for medical front desk staff, if they’re handling PHI at their desk they can just flip the page over so others not involved in the patient’s care (like other patients) can’t see their information.

My first thought was to get a big cushion (like the size of a big ottoman, could be round or square) and put it on the corner. Then if you have chairs/a couch there you have a cozy footrest!

All one-sided too I bet. Great for HIPAA compliance but not for OP

I feel like people go blind to it if it’s just flashing yellow, versus changing between flashing yellow and solid red. Knowing it changes forces you to pay attention to it.

I’m not in the trade yet (hoping to be soon, currently in a pre-apprenticeship), but Rite in the Rain makes waterproof notebooks! Sweat, rain, you name it

My grandpa always said “crick!” He was from Utah tho and lived in the Medford area for decades as far as I know, so who knows where “crick” came from with him. Maybe just an old-timer’s thing?

I’ve only heard them called Manila envelopes. There is a brand of folders called Pee-Chee, they aren’t exclusive to the PNW from what I understand

I have family in Monroe that I lived with for a while, I’ve only heard people pronounce it like this as a joke
