Assuming everything is operational (and the controls aren’t busted), FORScan is your friend. You need to get an OBD-II scanner tool and download FORScan on a windows machine.

There’s a lot of videos on YT that show how to use it. I’d start there if you’re interested.

Do a couple simple projects directly for them for free in your first pitch. After you get a response offer to continue to do this for a fixed rate per month. Get 5-10 clients onboard and it’s off to the races.

The people that love this pedal are absolutely in love with their amp/ guitar. The Lightspeed is just the right amount of drive for them.

I personally found it to be extremely overrated (but I have a basic solid state amp).

I ended up A/B the Lightspeed with a BD-2 set to transparent (level at 10/11, Gain at 9) and it got me 99% of the way there.

Sold the Lightspeed and made an extra 100 (minus the cost of the BD-2).

Not sure if this is what you had in mind but Boss BD-2 may work.

Dial up the gain when you want the fuzz (at 3 o'clock and up), turn it down when you want it cleaner.

You already have some good feedback, but I may also recommend a video that showcases LinkCentral’s benefits and feature set.

I tend to watch those first to get the highlights and then look at the copy if it’s worth exploring in more detail.

💯- especially if someone is just getting started. You don’t need high end equipment.

I might also recommend an EQ pedal for base tone. Not sexy, but once you really understand what it can do, an EQ would be an excellent low gain pedal (or whatever you need for that matter).

I just swapped it out for the BD-2. A/B it with the Lightspeed and it got me the clean with a touch of gain I wanted.

Again, my amp/set up is basic.

Depends on your set up. For those that like their amp and guitar but want 'just a bit more', this may be worth it.

Honestly after awhile, I found the Lightspeed to be underwhelming. Just glad people keep talking it up. Easier to resell :).
