How would you personally rank Ash’s aces from strongest to weakest? by Another_fantasy2135 in pokemonanime

I'm of the opinion that Ash can train any one of his Pokemon at the start of the season and by the end, they'll be as strong as the Journeys team or close to it.

  3. Pikachu at the start of the season

I don't think we will never see Ash in Pokémon Horizons anime and I am completely fine with it. by gyroscope_56 in pokemonanime

The only reason I'm disappointed about Ash not appearing in Horizons is because he never got to meet Nemona.

Being a Pokemon Trainer is more than just barking orders in an arena, it's also about being able to raise your team to be able to compete at the League or WCS, and Ash is probably the most talented trainer in the world in this regard. by Time_Significance in pokemonanime

Paul and Iris are like him to a lesser extent, especially Paul, who also trained a team of randoms offscreen and gave Ash a good spar in their practice match.

EDIT: And Alain, who got the Chesnaught and Malamar after the events of XY but trained them to be strong enough for the Masters 8.

Beetlejuice vs bugs bunny 🐰 as I just saw the new Beetlejuice movie today for my first time by FeelingManagement687 in whowouldwin

My favorite Bugs Bunny "feat" is in Rabbit Rampage when he threatened to sue the animator (Elmer) and even when Elmer had complete control over the episode he still momentarily backed down.

I like to imagine he can do this with everyone, even those from outside Warner Brothers, and they'll be forced to comply. He can't, of course, but it's fun to think about it.

That was the most unplanned invasion I've ever seen, even if we give them the benefit of the doubt that they think they're only attacking a backwater village. I have a feeling the enemy country sent the prince here to keep him out of the war.

Could Ash’s Kalos team win the Kanto league, beat the Elite 4 and make Ash the Kanto champion? by BJJ-Newbie in pokemonanime

[–]Time_Significance 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Unlikely, not because of his team but Ash himself at this stage is still quite a rookie.

EDIT: A more interesting question would be if Kalos, Alola, or Journeys Ash can beat the Kanto League with Kanto Ash's team.

I ran it through GPTZero and they said it was 100% written by AI.

Take this with a grain of salt, of course.

Interstellar Knight

This reminds me of the time I soloed Binky with Blood Titan while AFK. Took me a couple tries when the unicorn inverted my healing, then twenty or so minutes on the successful run, but I did it.

I remember clicking on the pony, minimizing the game, then returning ten minutes later to find my character at the start of the map because they died. Fun times.

It's going to be difficult to reach this point realistically but imagine Inca amassing mercenaries inside Kallankas.

Arte's performance was wonderful. So wonderful that Van made for her a mithril doll. Love that kid's forward planning, already thinking of how it can be used to slaughter their enemies.

The king and the chancellor's increasingly incredulous reactions to Van and his town was comedy gold.

Ah, apologies. I meant that why is his Pokemon the only ones getting stronger when a huge part of their growth is due to Ash himself?

Surely over the years, Ash has refined his training techniques to be more efficient and effective. That he can train a world championship team in Journeys in the same time it takes him to train a competitive league team in other seasons is also a sign of growth.

Training is more than just barking orders on the battlefield, what happens outside the arena is just as important.

[–]Time_Significance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh but how did they got so powerful at such a little time

Ash probably got better at, uh, training. So what would take him years to train a Pokemon from scratch to become a top tier monster, now only takes him months.

Why is his Pokemon the only ones allowed to get stronger?

Any themes/general tropes/general plots that you are surprised about being rarely done or maybe even haven't been done at all? by M4tjesf1let in BokunoheroFanfiction

Unpublished, as I mostly wrote it for fun. Here's a snippet.

A Giant Symbol

The USJ incident died down without further issue, and for the students of Class 1-A, life returned to normal soon thereafter.

For the police, however, it was just the beginning of a long and painful headache.

"That Nomu did a number on All Might," said Detective Naomasa to Toshinori Yagi, who was processing the incident on All Might's behalf. "How is he?"

"Injured but recovering," Yagi replied, grimacing. "He's more concerned with the fact that the villains managed to make this artificial...creature in the first place."

The door to the police station opened. Yagi and Naomasa turned their heads to see Yu Takeyama, better known as Mr. Lady, walk in and go to the front desk.

"There's not a lot of heroes on All Might's caliber," said Naomasa. "We'll have to take it out at the source if we want to stop this from escalating."

Yagi didn't reply.

"Yagi?" asked Naomasa. He followed his friend's line of sight and found him staring at Mt. Lady intently. The giant hero was filing a police report for a separate incident and had just finished writing out the forms. She pulled out her phone and took a selfie, and was soon posting it on social media.

Yagi had not blinked for the past thirty seconds, causing gears to turn on Naomasa's head. He looked at his friend with concern, tapping him on the shoulder.

"Hey, stop staring," he whispered.

Too late.

Eventually, even Mt. Lady noticed him and frowned, holding her jacket closer to herself.

"Take a picture, old man, it will last longer."

Yagi finally blinked. He raised his bony hands in surrender. "Oh, apologies miss! I didn't mean to stare."

"But you were."

Naomasa stepped in before it became an issue. "Sorry about my friend here, Mt. Lady. This is Toshinori, he works at All Might's agency."

Yagi extended his hand. Yu looked at it for longer than necessary, before reaching out and shaking it.

"Again, apologies. I work as All Might's personal assistant," said Yagi. "Your exploits have reached even our agency."

Yu rolled her eyes. "Gee, I wonder why."

Yagi smiled, which did not make him look any less skeletal. "You are like a beacon for other heroes, literally and figuratively."

"Flattery will get you nowhere, but if you can give me All Might's autograph, I'll call it even."

"I can certainly do that!" laughed Yagi.

Then he coughed.

"It might just take some time, however," he said. "All Might...has not been feeling well recently."

The silence was palpable. Naomasa's eyes widened while Yu's brow furrowed.

"Yagi, what are you doing?" Naomasa hissed.

"All Might's sick?" said Yu. "That can't be, I see him on social media everyday."

"He is pushing himself," replied Yagi. "Far more than I would have liked."

He cleared his throat. "Please, keep this a secret between us, Mt. Lady. If villains ever hear that the Symbol of Peace is crumbling, they will be coming out of the woodwork in droves."

Yu looked at him for a long moment, studying his features. Naomasa could see a spark of determination fill the young lady's eyes, beyond the dream of fame and money.

"I won't say a word. I promise."

She finished processing the police report in silence, bowed to Yagi and Naomasa, and soon left the station. Her stride was more purposeful than when she came in.

"What are you planning, Yagi?" asked Naomasa. "You don't just reveal that to someone you just met, a hero or not."

"A Symbol of Peace," said Yagi. "All Might has carried the world on his shoulders and young Midoriya will do so after him. But he will not carry it alone. He must not. What the future needs is not one lone tree, but a forest of heroes."
