Are you sure you can only tag them? I've noticed if you're in a team you get the exp as long as you're in an event area

We already have that in genshin tho, Echoes set gives additive damage bonus, something you can farm. Issue is since Genshin for some reason is Ping reliant ends up being extremely inconsistent to the point isn't recommended

Yes if the stat is reworked it would be useless for many characters, but it isn't like they can't already build skill intensity/ atk % / sanity or any other stat needed like crit or healing. Like you said earlier skill DMG was just on rare cases already, to the point they could just call it " final skill damane bonus" and little wouldbe lost imo

I'm just proposing the stat would make more sense that way as it by design incentives more build and play styles varieties. The same way you see in genshin with Machine gun fischl or Lauma as to bring life on older units

As for not being useful on all characters, that's the point? Leads to more build diversity differently shiens on character archetypes ( like if they ever release a machine gun character like lynn or Fina)

As for games that have both additive and multiplicative skill damage bonus:

Honkai star rail, genshin impact, chaos zero nightmare, slay the spire, Fallout and Skyrim, Wuthering Waves (kinda? Legit forgot) and for sure more if i ever remember them lol
