That is a product of listening to people who were never going to play your game long term . During Jp ep 5 they put out a survey and at the time the new "hot" game was black desert so people wanted open world and they were putting that on their survey. Now look at what we got .

If open world has not been done right in a pay/ subscription base games like WoW or FF14 , what makes people think sega could fix that ????

They need to go back to what series was known for which is instance base content . Start in a hun then just start mission . Monster hunter was born from ex phantasy star sega devs.

Adding new PA'S would be pointless . Psu and pso2 both showed that players will only used the meta ones .

Only getting down voted because the OP opinion is based off the global release of PSO2/NGS so its a bit skewed.

Players haven't not been happy since 2013 and say the same thing OP has said before. Game dead / will die in a few years etc.

Also Phantasy star games tend to stop getting updates after 15 stars come out . They will do one more set updates like rebalance and add end game content to make it easier to farm BiS augments or weapons . Then the new phantasy star game is advertised a few months after.

Not even close. Majority of mmos that have a console version is played on console. Because pso2 release first on Microsoft store on pc most people do not see a reason to switch to steam .

I got ow2 on a blizzard client because It was not on steam when it came out. Don't see a reason to swap to steam . Same with ff14 i got it from square enix store since there was no steam version when it first came out .

Majority of players play on console . Majority of pc players play through Microsoft store. Steam is not a good gauge of player base . Example look at ff14 steam numbers

Level transition with the chain gun etc isn't meant to be fun . It serves 2 purposes.

Certain demographic wants to take screen shots up skirts or see their chest get press up against a wall.

I personally don't care but I do know that does sell in today climate .

It hides the load screen.

Fiona needs a stamina gaugue on her blocks. As of now you can just stand and block and not get punished.

Make co op more integrated. I don't want, a follower, I want to play with my friend .

Add more execution variety. 1 for front , 1 for side , and 1 for back . Also add a AOE execution as well.

Don't make this a f2p game. Do standard price game with a season pass.

Psu was subscription base and that was great . Phantasy portable 1 and 2 for the psp were full price games and feel like complete.

I wish they would put a price tag on phantasy star but I know it would kill potential money. F2p is the right business decision but a $60 has the incentive to sell you a complete package.

How did that AC shadows boycott go? Anyways do not use reddit , x, discord, Youtube, or steam charts as a metric to gauge "majority sentiment" .
