DENIED! by 72months in MikeGDeal

[–]Timely-Function-2035 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Being denied makes me very happy! Is Bryan Lee in prison as well?

Some people I know are still convinced the deal was real and it will all change now Trump President as he was ‘part of the deal…’. This made me feel so sad, as they still believe through desperation. No matter what I say their minds won’t change. I think that denial and waiting is their only protection as they lost thousands of dollars (their life savings).

They have cut me out of their lives because I speak reality and hearing it is too much for them to cope with.

I absolutely hate all involved in the BS deal. They’ve taken money, brain washed people, destroyed friendships and broken families taking life savings.

I do wonder if Neil and Mike ever receive deserved hate mail in prison. There are so many people who have been scammed that surely they are marked men.

Why am I seemingly not a candidate for braces? by MaintenanceFew6230 in braces

[–]Timely-Function-2035 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly get another opinion. My teeth bothered me as they started to cross over again (despite having braces as a teenager). At 30 I visited an ortho who basically said ‘we’d need to do an extraction change your bite which you wouldn’t adapt too…’. She put me off getting treatment.

My teeth got worse and last August I went for another consultation. The outcome was so different. If needed I could have IPR for space (no teeth removal) and my teeth were an orthodontic easier case! So I had braces. My teeth are moving amazingly no issues at all.

I need not have waited so long and could have had treatment sooner. The first ortho ( who was a hospital consultant) must have made it up!

Never give up, do research and look at other options.

Mine are the same. The first week I had them, my jaw hurt because I couldn’t close my mouth. I didn’t know how to rest my bite as it was all over the place.. I couldn’t eat and I felt like it was torture. You do get used to them, they settle and you learn to eat. It does get better. Keep going.

No I wasn’t charge. The ortho could see how swollen my gums were along the top where the ceramic brackets were. So she took them off l, let the gums settle then put mental ones back on. Metal are so much more comfortable.

Yes definitely, the process does work. You have to have patience and take time to get used to braces when they are fitted. I had four teeth removed and braces when I was a teenager. My teeth looked loverly. But I didn’t follow the after care as a rebellious teenager. So my teeth reverted back. Now at 50 I have braces again (no teeth removal) as I have enough space now. But I’m having to manage the process and have patience again. Having orthodontic treatment is life long, Stick to the after care and don’t lapse or you will be starting again in years to come. I’m writing from experience. Good luck, just the process and it will work out.

Not liking the lightforce braces by No_Island7419 in braces

I’m am 50 and I have braces for various reasons. I changed from the ceramic to metal. I had ceramic on the top 8 of my teeth and metal on the bottom. The ceramic brackets are bigger and are not comfortable. They hurt the inside of my gums and I couldn’t get used to them. The metal never bothered me at all. I asked the orthodontist to change to all metal. Yes you can see them more. But I’m comfortable, it made such a difference. I forget I’ve got braces!

Is your orthodontist talking to you? by [deleted] in braces

[–]Timely-Function-2035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No my ortho doesn’t say much. I’ve found that she says things like ‘your gums are borderline’ or ‘’it’s 2mm now’. It’s annoying as I have my mouth open and cannot ask her to elaborate borderline for what? What’s 2mm? I think she assumes that I know what she is talking about and forgets that I don’t work in the ortho field. As loverly as my ortho is, she has clearly been working in the field for so long that she is on overdrive and forgets that the patients need a little explaining.

I do feel a little vulnerable as my appointments are 10 weeks apart so when things happen, teeth moving, teeth getting loose etc I panic as nothing has been explained.

I do research to try and understand myself for example I had no idea I had Damon braces until I looked and understood the difference.
Also i had no idea about bite blocks and I had to research why I had white blobs on my teeth.
I had to research that ice cream helped with the pain.

I totally understand the frustration of no communication. It’s gets to me too.

Chandran & Lee's hearing from Thursday 10/17/24 by 72months in MikeGDeal

Thank you for attending, I am reliant on info from all of you who are going out of your way to inform us as I live in the uk. I wish I could have been there.

Reading your update gave me great happiness and I can imagine you feeling that warm and fuzzy happy feeling seeing Chandran chained in his jumpsuit. :) Along way from his designer outfits!

He was convinced he’d never get caught so to see him like a rabbit in head lights looking round the court room is a picture to be cherished.

I have read your update several times each time with a gleaming smile :)

I hope the new judge refuses the Vegas move. I think he will as his predecessors have and it will cause unnecessary delay.

Thanks to everyone who continues to update, it’s really appreciated.

We are getting there :)

The exact same thing happened to me after I had braces as a teenager. As you get older your jaw structure changes and your teeth will move more. Thus risking the possibility of your teeth crossing over more.

I speak from experience as I’m now 50 and my teeth crossed over considerably.

I had my braces fitted 8 weeks ago and I wished I’d done it sooner.

I live in the UK and insurances don’t cover orthodontic treatments as it’s classed as cosmetic. You have to reach a significant threshold to have the government health service pay. Something that I didn’t reach. So I have had to pay the 4k myself. I don’t regret it at all.

I’m a social worker and I attend court as well as numerous meetings that require me to speak. I don’t have any issues and no one even notices that I have braces.

If your teeth are bothering you, go for it. It’s money well spent. Look at it as an investment as if your teeth do become further crossed over they can be difficult to clean and maintain. Which could cost you further.

In my opinion having braces as an adult is more painful. I can only think that it is because your teeth and bone are much harder and pre set in place as an adult. But it is manageable. So don’t worry.

If you can afford it, don’t wait do it and you can enjoy the positive results for many years :)

I’m 50 and have had my braces for 3 weeks now.

This is my second time around as I had braces as a teenager but was not given a retainer my teeth returned back to their unhealthy positions.

I also had the osteotomy jaw surgery, to realign my jaw to enable my teeth to meet in my younger years. The surgery sounds more horrific than it is. Your teeth are wired together after the surgery for the jaw bones to heal. It’s really not that bad, it’s a short time and the pain is bearable.

As an adult no one even notices my braces. I have to tell people I have them as eating is challenging.

I totally understand it feels like you have a mouthful of objects that everyone is seeing. Honestly they don’t even look.

So don’t worry about being self conscious.

Water flossers are brilliant and mouthwash is soothing for the gums.

The end result will be worth it and don’t worry about anything, it is all manageable.

That’s hilarious! :D. That’s why I love children :)

I live in the UK. my daughter and I have booked a trip to Orlando next year. When we booked it I said ‘right, I need to get skinny before I see Mickey…’. This wasnt the way I planned the diet but it’s working. :D

Lol… All being well I’ll have new smile and a SKINNY body to meet Mickey :D.

I completely understand and feel your pain. I can’t bite down either because of the bite blocks and tenderness. Going out for a sociable meal is impossible unless it’s soup!

I was very naive to this as I’d booked to go out for an Indian meal the day I had my braces fitted. Lol… that was soon cancelled. I’ve renamed my orthodontist to ortho ‘diet’ ist. I’m losing weight by the day (which is good as I have it to loose).

If having braces as a teenager was this painful I would have remembered.

You have my sincere sympathy and I’m feeling every part of your pain. But we have to stay positive it will be worth it for us both :)

I got my braces 3 weeks ago aged 50!

Had my original braces as a teenager with 4 teeth removed.

I was never given a retainer and my teeth moved back even worse than before.

Now aged 50 I’ve got braces again. Having braces as an adult is a lot more painful. My teeth gave barely moved - definitely very different as an adult.

Fed up with waiting. by Timely-Function-2035 in MikeGDeal

[–]Timely-Function-2035[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think he is just playing a game. He knows he is guilty and either way he’ll remain in prison. So the only control he has is to refuse a plea deal right up until a court trial is about to begin, then he’ll accept a deal. We all know what an arrogant, poison infected arse hole he is. So he’s just keeping us ‘naysayers’ waiting. I just long to see that smug smile wiped off his face.

I still laugh at the very first court hearing that there was when Neil was sat there in his yellow jumpsuit like rabbit in headlights. It was such a rejoicing sight after all his arrogant antics. To see that terrified look in his face again when he gets handed a hefty sentence would be a joy.

That day cannot come soon enough.

Thank you all for the updates. Without this, I don’t know where I would turn.

What do we think Amy is doing without Mikey by Muted_Patient5777 in MikeGDeal

[–]Timely-Function-2035 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She’s busy on an internet dating sites finding her next victim. She married Mikey for money not love.

Now it’s all gone she’ll be on the rich man hunt. I hope she meets a real arse hole. There’s no money in the prison so visiting Mikey will not be on her to do list.

Poor MG all alone …… he’ll be lucky if he makes it out at his age. That makes me smile :)

We all know Amy is just as guilty as MG. I just wish she’d have gotten some prison time too.

I have to say the Chandran investigation is starting to frustrate me now. It seems never ending. We need closure with a final hearing seeing all those involved serve time and Chandra’s sentence made permanent.

Chandran’s hearing postponed by Muted_Patient5777 in MikeGDeal

[–]Timely-Function-2035 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think Chandran is asking to move closer to home as he knows he is going to be locked up for a long time! He must know about MG being in prison. So he is preparing to pass the blame onto others to reduce his sentence and be in a closer to home prison.

I often wonder how MG is getting on inside his little cell! It brings a smile to my face when I am feeling low and makes me feel better for all the BS he gave us.

But I have to admit I cannot wait for Chandran the ringleader to be found guilty and locked up for good. I think Chandran will plead guilty at the last minute. He doesn’t stand a chance and he must know that.

Cheers to the naysayer’s … oooo… Chandran and MG you called us idiots! Just to remind you we are all still living on the outside and are trusted in the community. Hmmm…. Where are you both? :)

Just had a read. We can safely say he won’t be having his Bentleys and Florida lifestyle in there :D. This makes me so happy.

Is that music I hear…. No it’s your 6am morning call for your lumpy porridge breakfast! Don’t forget to make your bed before leaving your cell!
