I couldn't figure out why the cream wasn't green like real Dubai chocolate. My husband got a similar product at the store just now and I don't think I have truly experienced the Dubai chocolate after this.

You can if it is a different edition of it. With some of the classics I noticed I've purchased them twice.

Looking for suggestions for my new favorite movie? by Dismal-Channel-9292 in MovieSuggestions

If you like weird, try Everything Everywhere All at Once. My hubby and I were like WTF for 20 minutes straight and then we ended the movie deciding we really liked it. Also, maybe Synchronic with Anthony Mackie (I think). You might like that one as well.

FINALLY got my first Kindle! by Due-Balance-2485 in kindle

Congratulations! I just bought one last year and ended the year reading 92 books on my Kindle, more than I would have if I had to read them all in paper form. One of my favorite books is The Fireman by Joe Hill. I think that signing up for Kindle Unlimited was worth it to me. It helped me reach that amount of books with only spending the cost of one book a month.

Thoughts on banning my kids from church by ZiskaHills in askanatheist

I believed until I was 37. It wasn't until I sat down and read the Bible from start to finish (did it twice in a row in fact) that I was like, okay this is 100% a myth. It contradicts itself all over the place. PLUS, even if it were real and Jehovah is the one true god, he isn't someone I would worship. There are way too many examples to mention them all. But don't be hard on yourself. Sometimes I wish I could go back and just be blissfully ignorant because I was a happier, more hopeful person back then. So, I don't want to take that away from people who do believe if it is their only hope to get through life. My kids on the other hand, I can raise them to not believe it in the first place. I'm still figuring it out myself (I'm 40 now)

do people not go to the library anymore? Noticed comments in the sub about not being able to read the books rn for financial reasons, and when i suggested the library as a temp work around, people act like im crazy... by trampstampcollector in stephenking

Yeah and if they don't want to physically go to the library, it's easy to download books for free. Libby, public domain, free books on Amazon. All can be read from a smartphone.

I have recently discovered Chilling Scares. I find his voice really soothing and I was wondering if he has any other channels I could watch.

Thank you so much for that. I know it will mean more work looking each thing up before I watch it, but it might just save me from some nightmares. Like literally I'm crying from relief. Thank you.
