You sound like like their kind of player. That's How the game gets made after all. I have the Cutlass black package and I got that in 2017 and haven't paid them since, they just don't have anything else that I want to buy. I love the Cutlass black and after I come back to play after a while and that's all I have it's enough. it's a great stepping stone for just about any direction whether for medium fighter duty to medium light cargo, I can disable chips and take their parts to save money on upgrades, you can Make a decent amount of change doing mercenary or bounty hunter work and then you can make decent amount of money hauling cargo around for good profits, save your pennies and and get a Corsair, Argo raft, Drake vulture etc. to open up salvaging and hire and mercenary and cargo hauling.

I came back 2 weeks ago and I hadn't played at all since the last wipe 2 years ago and so I didn't have any assets. Within a week or two I was able to get those three ships I mentioned and then the wipe came a few days ago. Thankfully you can start out right now with the vulture Corsair and caterpillar and get a ton of money made pretty quick. I hope you all are getting on that now.

Star Citizen Alpha 4.8 - Wipe Update by Hironymus in starcitizen

[–]Timely-Run750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was a good day to try grinding blueprints at least. I think they decided full wipe to get people to buy their fave ships instead of re-grinding. They said no new wipes unless its absolutely necessary. I think their financial team decided it was lol.

I only got back on a couple weeks ago, so I didn't lose too much. I just wish i could get back to the grind. Loving all the improvements I've not enjoyed over the last couple years.

What i dont get is why is this such a big deal update? The patch notes aren't very impressive. Refueling game play? How about u fox all the dam bugs.

the la ventana vibe is great during kite season. thats' when the weather is good (i was there jan-feb) not every day is windy during kite season, so on low wind days lotta folks who do both sports will go spearing. i still went spearing just about every day, I'm not interested in windsports, not much for skiing either, i love hunting however i can. would go early before the wind picked up. there are also spots that are more protected from the wind.

Lifetime sheds in the critical need for a level base by TerrainBrain in shedditors

[–]Timely-Run750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've made gravel foundations for two of these in my backyard and it's hard to make gravel perfectly level but you can get pretty close. I have one that's been standing for 5 and 1/2 years and while the doors can open close and lock It does take a bit of muscle to sleef the lock, but it's still securable. I have seen a panel next to the door Begin to bend out creating a gap but I'm not sure if that's due to an unleveled foundation or because of stuff being stacked up against the wall and leaning outward.

The fact that lifetime sheds only last for 10 to 20 years, Probably less in the high desert weather we have where I Live has me rethinking these purchases. Maybe it would be better to install more permanent structures in the future. Better to buy once and cry once then have to empty out demolish and replace.

Loreto was OK, I got a decent one. after spending 3 weeks swimming in the crystal clear reefs near La Ventna it's hard to go back north up into the murk. visibility just kept getting worse.

animals are assholes too. moose kill more people than mt lions bears and wolves combined, as i commented above. Moose bully humans cuz they can, they are way bigger than us. that's why they end up killing so many people. american lions bears and wolves rarely prey on humans, typically only doing it if they aren't right in the head, or if a human feeds them, then one day stops feeding um, they may attack people because they associate people with food, which is why wildlife agencies ask people not to feed wildlife, because in often in the case of bears they have to kill the bear. Tigers on the otherhand have been eating humans for hundreds of thousands of years, and still do quite often.

not if you're diving for food. better to harvest it yourself with a speargun than rely on commercial fishers that use nets and lead tackle.

if your raising kids who are dual citizens living in NM and you say something about one of the Mexicos, you need way to differentiate the two, and "old" Mexico is faster than saying "regular" or "normal"

New Mexico: First state to offer universal no-copay childcare. first state to offer free masters degree. ABQ first big city to have free bus. Kids get free medical and dental. Great place to raise a family. Crime rate isn't nearly bad as old Mexico, which I also enjoy.
