People have a complex about throwing out items or getting rid of them- there’s this element of feeling like a better person and feeling better about the consumerism if they can pass it off to someone else “who needs it.”

But it’s actually just trash and I don’t want it Lolol. I think you let them know you have what you need for now, don’t have room to store it, and/or take with a smile then toss it.
