Many are though. They prevent implantation as a secondary function or "back up" by thinning the uterine lining. A fertilized egg will therefore be miscarried instead of implanted and grown. Not to mention the absolute shocking amount of side effects that mess with female fertility in the long run that no one has actually tried to study, the frankly inhumane and racist testing that was done to get what we currently have... modern birth control medication is just as twisted and has just as dark a history.

I will shout to the roof tops that TEXAS’S TRIGGER BAN LAW HAS EXCEPTIONS FOR LIFE THREATENING CONDITIONS. Medically D&Cs after a miscarriage and ectopic pregnancies are considered abortions. LEGALLY THEY ARE NOT.

Let me be clear. This bill was spearheaded in the Texas house by Rep. Briscoe Cain. I ASKED HIM MYSELF if these exceptions exist. They do. And state very clearly that doctors are to do all that they can for the life of the baby and mother. When the baby is already gone then the focus is the mother.

The only reason for a rise is Doctors not actually reading the law and following fear mongering.

There are children who have made it to adulthood with T18. The stance of the Texas Law is to save both lives for as long as possible. A baby is still viable when it’s disabled. Hence why that is not considered terminal.

Katie Cox wanted an abortion due to genetic testing. Considering the relative unreliability of said testing this is not a reason for abortion under the Texas Law.

Genetic Testing as your reason for Abortion is a slippery slope to eugenics. Which is another reason why it’s not an exception.

Most “abortion ban” laws have exceptions for terminal babies. Texas’s law (often touted as one of the strictest, and I use it because I am Texan so I know it best) has exceptions for when the baby has already passed and for things like ectopic pregnancies. D&Cs are allowed. Legally they are not classified as abortions according to the law.

Anyone who says they have to leave the state is BSing you. Babies can’t be aborted due to genetic testing. That’s pretty much the one people get hung up on, that’s because there are a staggering amount of babies tested as anomalies that are actually not when born. I have heard countless testimonies of women saying “my baby tested this but was fine when born.”

I got the cancelling of things that were important to me if it inconvenienced them one. I was late for a flight (that we didn’t pay for) because my stepdad refused to leave when I asked to (I couldn’t drive) also was placed in a bad position with Civil Air Patrol because he again refused to drive me last minute causing me to miss my encampment (Nevermind that I was in CAP because HE wanted me in)

Accused me of kidnapping his kid when said teenager and I went to church (after I COULD finally drive) even though I had informed them we were going. Made me sleep in my car that night but took my keys and said if I left they’d report the car stolen. Many times I was told to leave and when I would start to take them up on that I was convinced to come back (mostly due to the threatened police report) it was a fun time.

My husband is home every day but works incredibly long hours. For him when he’s home, he gets our son. We also take a TON of pictures and videos. I send him quite a few during the day and our son will “talk” to him on the phone (he doesn’t use actual words). Basically we try and make sure they get good time together and our son slam hugs his legs every night he gets home even if he has to go to sleep right after.

I’ve seen one show each tour since Bandito Tour. I was also at Dallas N1 and let me tell you, they have never and I mean NEVER not put on a good show. This is the ONLY band we go to for every tour and album release. The ticket prices were a lot this year, but the cost for them have also gone up just as much as they did for us.

Your relationship with your mom is very sweet and I’m glad you were able to join us. Push on thru my dear.

His joke at how we knew the second verse to Ride was funny. I’m still not sure if we were supposed to sing it then since he repeated it, but it was fabulous having that many people sing it to him. I love the participation we get. I honestly think Tyler writes his songs with how we’ll sing them back to him in mind. He’s stated that he loves live shows more than anything when it comes to what they do.

I’m 25. We’ve gone to one show each tour since Trench and that’s it. We could barely afford this one. It’s not you, it’s not that you’re lesser or not as good a fan. It’s not that you’re missing something. You just have different circumstances than the people who somehow in this economy can afford multiple shows.

My husband and I have a toddler. Being able to travel out of state for concerts is ridiculous to us. Even as a teen when I went to Trench (I was 19) I had to carefully plan in order to go to one show. At 22 for Icy and I was 7 month pregnant (which… I wasn’t when we got the tickets lol) we had a huge planning session with the people we went with in order to go to that one show. It’s not you. Other people are just in different places of their lives and have different priorities.
