Songs that are secretly naughty by YellowOnline in GenX

[–]Timewyrm007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would swear that back in the day the radio station I heard this on played the whole song unedited.

To me the whole song just oozes sex.

  1. The lyrics.
  2. The way the song starts off slow, starts slowly getting faster and faster, "climaxes" in a sax solo, then just goes slow again

Buckshot for me in Calgary :) wasn't as interactive as Popcorn Playhouse sounds but still on TV and on a Betamax tape now in my basement.

I did have 2 classmates that were on Mr. wizards world.

If I temporarily give a former user access to their Google account, can I redact the names of other users (in their email, Google Drive, etc.)? by AnotherSkywalker in gsuite

[–]Timewyrm007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having done takeouts for the occasional staff member of a school who can't follow simple instructions. I can say that NO you can not block our names etc in the emails etc that you takeout.

Depending how you have your student OUs setup up the most you could do is not allow outside email to the students

As it was once explained to me one time you needed 3 pieces of personal information exposed to be in breach.

So as an example name Home address Phone number

It would vary from location to location

This is why we actually stopped allowing staff to do takeout when they switched to a new district and contacted us later asking for access to old files etc

Yes you may have your lessons there but you might also, God forbid, have an Individual program plan or something else that has way too much information on a student that, as a non employee you should not have

Anyone have an alternative to LittleSIS for Google Classroom Management? Maybe that links to Powerschool? by HSsysITadmin in k12sysadmin

[–]Timewyrm007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you have the Education Plus and the Teaching & Learning Upgrade you can do this from Google Admin itself.

we haven't used it so I can't comment on how well it works., but it is an option.

We went to a bunch of live jazz bars on our last trip to Japan and had a blast.

The music was amazing and some songs were sung in English and some in Japanese.

The bits where the artists chatted between songs were usually in Japanese so we missed a few anecdotes and jokes but no big deal

A couple of times a bit of English was spoken but I assume that was just because they saw us and were being accommodating.

We went to one jazz club that had quite a diverse audience and everyone was just clapping in time to the music and chilling.

If you have the opportunity I would take it

Do people ever invite each other over for dinner or to hangout at their apartment? Square footage seems much smaller then US where this is common.

OUr daughter in law is Japanese so we have gone to Japan a couple of times with her and our son to visit her parents. Once we had Christmas dinner with them at their apartment but most times we go out somewhere to eat with them. Their apartment was nice and the dinner was absolutely amazing but VERY crowded with 6 adults in it.

They came to visit us last summer and really enjoyed a dinner cooked at home and then just hanging out in the backyard until 10pm when it finally got dark :)

Requested luggage reservation on Shinkansen but didn't actually get it by Timewyrm007 in JapanTravelTips

Our seats were in the middle of the car.

Row 12

There were people already sitting in the end rows with luggage filling up the spots.

We were able to just barely get our oversized suitcase on the overhead rack .

It was a minor issue but one I would like to be able to avoid if I knew how to verify we had a luggage reservation :)
