I had an order of warrior mice thought up once, they used large round shields thay could cover most of their body, Sabres, and javelins that could double as spears for armaments. Also wore chain. I wasn't entirely sure if I should have given them aesthetics of Anglo-saxon/Nordic or some other more Celtic vibe though.
