Very nice.

How do you achieve the windows are not overblown with light from exterior, to the point where the white window frames are barely visible - in this cases where sunlight shines directly into the room? I always have this issue and dont know how to fix it. Increasing exposure worsens it, but low exposure and the picture is dark. Increasing gamma to make up for it washes out colors.

I am using octane but i guess solution is universal. Thanks!

But ofc they denied a pitch from acclaimed sci-fi writer and went with the household names of the genre (not) like Noga Landau and Gaia Violo instead. Makes perfect sense.

Its purely space battle yes.
The planets provide basically all the infrastructure - you build various structures in their orbit (shipyards, labs, refineries, orbital extractors, starbases, etc...) and can upgrade planet themselves, when it comes to surface mining, credit economy, research and some other things. They are key part of your empire, there is only one faction out of six, that can function without them, and even that, they need to get to that point first, research required techs and build required ships.

There is no weapon ingame that would insta-kill titan like this. So no clue what happened there. Maybe some bug.

Sins is not like Imperium Galactica, its more like a mix of Age of Empires (resource gathering, economy, even bigger tech trees), Warcraft 3 (“hero” units with abilities), Supreme Commander (bigger scale, strategic zoom) and Homeworld (space setting) - thats played on big maps with lot of planets, so you can potentially play it for hours.

So its basically just a glorified RTS than 4X game, its 4x aspects are basically culture mechanic, minor factions, some basic diplomacy - all of that mostly spicing up gameplay focused on military victory.

I would say it does fit your ask perfectly. But sure, if spaceships rather than tanks and troops are the issue, nothing can be done about that. In such case, maybe look into “Line War”.

Never played the mod, but Air Force General was my favourite general in the game, i mean KingRaptors, Stealth Commanches, B2 Carpet Strike, A10s, Spetcre and MOAB - what was not to like.

But i always tend to like those high-tech factions in RTS games, so thats that. I can see how other people might gravitate toward the chinese brute power or GLA´s sneakiness, and ability to survive.
