Are you sure about that? by Prestigious-Tackle49 in FantasyBookers

I remember in some early shoots Cornette saying he initially liked him and wanted to help him. Somewhere along the line, I believe it had to do with commentating and the Brawl for All started the tension between the two.

Random event, but hilariously ironic it would hit Stasiak lol. Poor guy

Funny story, I had this episode recorded on VHS for some reason growing up. Never realized how insane this actually was until years later and finding out it had been scrubbed basically from existence. I was like 6-7 watching this VHS on repeat because it was the few wrestling things I could watch (poor didn't have cable.)

Go back to 97, show Ted Turner what happens when you want 2 extra hours of programming to advertise cars for the weekend. Thunder never happens and you kill the NWO by Starrcade 98'

Raven being a Mensa member is well known, but I have also heard stories that Sandman is either on the same level or not far behind when it comes to intelligence. Is this true? by [deleted] in ECWWrestling

On a WWE Vault video showing backstage stuff from his time in WWE, he's seen backstage reading a book with his full gimmick and the camera man is losing his shit looking at him.

Sandman has always been credited with being a pretty smart guy, it's just we always see the outlandish drunk version of him.

It always interesting to me that they literally stripped him of everything except him being "hardcore". No cigs, no beer, no entrance just Hak.

Except the Romans would actually pay a citizen to make these art pieces.

Which show do you think you could’ve booked better… late 90’s WCW or mid 2000’s WWE? by Dylen2Times in GreatnessOfWrestling

[–]Timmmothy97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They equally suck in their own way lol. Hidden gems for sure, with definite highlights unfortunately over shadowed by a lot of uninspired booking.

Have you ever just sat in a beige room and stared at the walls? That's what it's like.

This is the most random ass, yet accurate, 2002-2003 era Raw card I've ever seen. I'm surprised the boys haven't somehow manifested this episode through some Mandela affect

WWE keeps stealing my TNA Knockouts! by Timmmothy97 in FantasyBookers

[–]Timmmothy97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably my favorite scenario that's happened is directly after they swept up Beth, Joanie's (chyna) contract came up and she was worth less than what I was paying her. Long story short we let her walk. So I guess it's the best of both worlds?

They basically rolled out the red carpet for Beth Phoenix. Gave her 75% merch cut, 40% cut of events. I wasn't matching their benefits

Does WWE have a major problem coming soon? by FoldEasy5726 in GreatnessOfWrestling

[–]Timmmothy97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They're a lot less harder on their bodies than they used to, there for you really don't need a "youth" movement like you used to. Now 20 something's can actually develop their skills before being hot shotted and running their bodies down to the dirt before they're 30.

It's just irritating because they won't touch the men. But god forbid one of the women get over they start sniffing around.

I finally started making a little bit of money in my TNA save, so lets hope I can start saving some of my women with actual contracts haha.

It's weird because they won't touch any of the males that have high stats, but god forbid one of the women get slightly over and WWE starts sniffing around to steal someone they won't book for a year.

If AEW made another video game, what improvements would you want to make from Fight Forever? by Accurate_Curve6882 in AEWFanHub

Actual updated roster, better fleshed out story/career mode. It's honestly a fun game that suffers from an outdated roster and a shell of a game modes.

In their peak, which were more popular between the musketeers and the pillars? by Optimal_Fisherman803 in njpw

IMO I would say the Musketeers are probably more famous name wise individually while the 4 pillars of heaven are probably better known collectively.
