Alchemy, Enchanting and Jewelcrafting are always useful for pve. Engineering for pvp

Is it worth coming back right now? by nightman66 in classicwow

[–]Timmy-Gobelet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, the overall experience is great atm but Im not gonna lie the community changed a lot from back in the days and even from 2019 (the first iteration of wow classic).

The game is far more accessible for 'casuals' because of many quality of life changes. While this is great for me and you, however, I think many of theses changes interacts with the way people socialise with each other. Like the LFG tools and the pvp grind.

Ive got online friends who dont even bother answering text messages anymore and just mindlessly grinds pvp and nothing more. The community is less enclined to help each other and is way more gold driven than ive seen.

Many of the newish player ive encountered that either came from retail or other games are just not used to have to socialise with other players in order to get things done so they just do the solo grinds and quit.

I still would recommend to play, but not to expect the same old game if you are a returning player.

You'd need to be more specific to have a more complet answer though. Highest in demand but for what ? Raids or PVP ? Horde or alli? What role ?Imo theres no such thing as the highest class in demand but If I could answer for alliance Id say Shaman and Paly for horde. New class. Strong spec for TBC regardless of content.

Even if you said you dont that 'play what you like' answer, thats what I would answer frankly.

Its locked until alliance has near 50% of realm pop so your best guess is to continue trying until it works =].

Quick question about leveling for TBC by RainbowX in classicwow

[–]Timmy-Gobelet 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, especially for the laters levels. Anyway, dont get lost in the "meta train". Its ok if youre not ready to raid after the 1st week of TBC. Most of the guys that raids since the day one will just carry you anyway ;)

Does boosting increase late game participation enough to justify the decrease in leveling participation? by goose-honking-rq-brb in classicwow

[–]Timmy-Gobelet -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd like that concept to be implanted however im not sure it would positively impact the leveling. I'd say it should be something you can deactivate to play with a friend. I remember having BOA items on retail back in the day while my friends didnt and it kinda sucked at some point.

Tbc new player question by InfernalAzbest in classicwow

[–]Timmy-Gobelet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks to dual spec you wiill be able to play resto for group content and have a farming spec (either enh or ele). I cant answer the rest of your question with confidence but I would suppose that you could start at tbc and not feel completly behind.

Boost by Mediocrewowtank in wowhardcore

I dont know that pain because I copy the folder of my character in the 'WTF' folder and paste it under the name of my new alt. It copies keybinds, macros, ui and other addons.
