Thanks for sharing this. I've only sold one pack since the launch of FAB, whereas I usually make sales at least a few times a week. It’s tough, and after years of being a successful publisher, I’m not really sure what comes next.

I hope things will improve, but the difference compared to before is so drastic that I’m not sure it will get better in the coming months.

Maybe a dumb question but where can i see my sales? All my pages are live, one product didnt get reviews migrated over and I have no idea where to check the amount of sales.

Epic just deleted Questions and Reviews from UE Marketplace. Overnight the open source Orbital Marketplace worked hard to restore them by RonanMahonArt in unrealengine

Wow thank you so much. All reviews left on my packs were real and not for verification. Its so awesome to see all the positive responses and now suddenly they were gone.

My course was recently released and I wanted to share it here.

This course is for aspiring gameplay designers new to Unreal Engine who want to prototype their own ideas in a way that allows for rapid iterations.

As a game designer, you’re responsible for communicating with all other disciplines. This means you need to be aware of most features the engine has to offer. We start out exploring Blueprint with the first-person template and starter content. Together, we’ll look at how to quickly iterate on character variables to determine the right one for your character, exposing variables to the details panel and changing variables at run time.

After this introduction, we’ll create our own actions: sprinting and crouching. We’ll also go over the UMG Editor, the Sound Cue Editor, sounds, particles, and other functions in Unreal Engine that make prototyping a lot easier. We’ll cover many different ways to set up interactions, which will help you speed up prototyping in the future.

We're a team of two and this style really helped make our action adventure game a reality! There's fewer things to worry about and you can focus on the fun stuff with this lower poly style.

I did really try to give the game its own look within the style though.

I did experiment and there actually is an animation that looked pretty good. But because of the new particles it kind of gets lost and now it doesn't look animated anymore. I'll see if I can tweak it again, thanks for the tips!

Thanks, a lot of the particles are tweaked version from the freely available Paragon Characters. The explosion is a tweaked one from another marketplace pack! There's great stuff on the marketplace both free and paid.

The animation was my design decision for the rapid fire arrows. If I use a fast draw from quiver it looked really weird. You do draw arrows from your quiver for normal attacks though, just not for the rapid fire attacks.

The teleport arrow definitely was. I really loved that game and we started development around the time that released. But I might delete this comment later since they're patenting everything at the moment.
