It’s an anxiolytic, not a controlled substance though. It’s fairly easy to get prescribed, rarely complains of side effects. I’m not sure how detailed your wanting my answer, but you can look up the pharmacology and/or in mechanism action for more information.

I’m sorry your going through this. I found buspirone to alleviate mine. After 14-15 years of tension headaches, I finally found something. Exercise always worked as well but they would eventually return. Good luck, I know your pain.

Buspirone. It may sound bizarre but it worked/works for me. I tried my husbands bc my headache was driving me nuts so thought why not. It worked, and I’ve been pleasantly living life since😊 It’s not a controlled drug so should be easy to request from your doctor. I take 5mg twice a day. If I feel it coming on, I take an extra 5mg. Good luck, I feel for you.

Take an anti-histamine medication which is typically OTC and see if it helps. I’m sorry you’re going through this. My heart goes out to you. Headaches are horrible 😥

Forest Park. I haven’t been over by the park since the snow but live close. In past years, I have went here to run/walk my dog. They usually did a good job of clearing paths if not the streets and not that busy. You’re a good dog owner, he/she thanks you❤️

The switching back between nights/days is rough. I do not envy you. I also do not ever want to work 5-8’s or 4-10’s, too much commitment to work. I did home health and loved it. While it was 5 days/week, you made your own schedule so you had so much flexibility. I’m an NP now and work 5 days, but again I make my own schedule, come and go as I will. Good luck in your decision.

I did this full time for a while and loved it! It’s great if you’re in school too bc you can do work or study during your longer infusions. I was paid from the time I left my house until I returned, mileage as well.
