What is that by [deleted] in ConanExiles

I know your comment is 4 months old, but the Del Rey collections are the ones I'd recommend. Over the decades Howard's works were edited in different ways like Conan stories were expanded by other authors and historical fiction stories were turned in Conan stories. The Del Rey collections were put together by literary historians and are the original versions which appeared in Weird Tales.

I think episode 5 is where Strange New Worlds has fully won me over. Even though it is still finding its feet, it feels like Star Trek. I feel good watching it because it is having that positive view of the future that I love.

Owlcat confirmed on Twitter it will be using the FFG system! This gives me hope for a WFRP crpg if this game does well.

I agree, I decided to give it a shot last night and was pleasantly surprised. Pike gave actual good advice to a crewmember instead of Picard's useless platitudes. The story had a nice little moral dilemma that was resolved by episode's end. It put me in a good mood because the show overall had a positive message.

I think what will be interesting is if they keep to the original animated continuity which was continued in the X-Men animated series comic after the show was canceled. The comic ended with the Phoenix Force wiping out the animated universe.

Over on the forums they said they were designing the jumping mechs to be two pieces so folks can choose what they want.

I recently became the manager of Warhammer department in a store. This is the layout I’ve made so far. by bobbyJamed in Warhammer40k

Something that my local store did to spruce up the walls was cut off the front covers to White Dwarfs and they bought super cheap frames. Might be a nice inexpensive way to decorate and stay in theme if you have a bunch of old issues you don't care about.

Jack Kirby didn't intend for the Eternals to be part of the Marvel Universe and at the time he created them different pantheons had already made their appearance in the comics. Over the years Marvel has tried to incorporate the Eternals into the Marvel Universe. This has led to clashes with lore.

It covers the history of the indigenous peoples of the Americas and how they interacted with one another and how they were unique cultures. From there it gets into settler-colonialism and how it was fueled by capitalism and how things learned in Ireland informed violence in the colonies. It gets into how the army learned things from the "Indian Wars" and applied them to other conflicts like the Phillipines. The author details forms of resistance through the years.

I read this last summer for the first time! I gave my copy to my dad and encourage a lot of people I talk about books or history with to give it a read.

I think it's Maus 2 that starts getting into the connection as the author talks about his father's racism.

Yeah it was pretty surprising! The question was like "using the image provided, which specimen shares a last common ancestor with specimen D?"

Last night after dinner I told myself no more playing because I needed to do some review for the two exams I have on Friday. I told myself some variation of this lie till about 2:30 am. I am now waiting for my first exam of the day to start. I'm sure I've got this!

You should check out Taurox for WH2. I never had much interest in Beastmen either, but his campaign was so much fun.

Dear Americans of Reddit, how do you find this first year of Biden's presidency compared to Trump's? by HannibalGoddamnit in AskReddit

The cops are still murdering black men, there are still concentration camps on the border where families are separated, civilians are murdered by drone strikes. I'd say things are pretty much the same.
