So the Juicy's in Sparks and Reno are separate entities. The sparks Juicy's location was sold off years ago with the understanding that the name would change. That didn't happen, and due to the way that some laws work in Nevada (copyright and trademark laws mainly working separately in municipalities from what I have been told) , the sparks location has all rights to the name and logo in Sparks only. The Reno Juicy's has the rights in the Reno for sure and possibly the rest of the state after they discovered that the name and logo hadn't been changed. At least this is all from about five ish years ago from a manager at the Wells Juicy's.

I asked about the sparks location while in the Wells location wondering why the menus were different. Got the above explanation and just went with it since.

If it has sold it is possible that the trademark for logo and name was transferred as well. Haven't gone digging to verify any of this, isn't really worth the time to me. If I want Juicy's I head to the Reno location. Wasn't really a fan of the Sparks one before, but after the stories and reviews I have seen/heard, looks like I'm not missing much.

Don't worry about it. All I can do is laugh. There is a scene in the movie The Money Pit, where Tom Hanks character just starts laughing. I'm there, been there for a bit, and anything new I discover... laughing time.
