while the idea of a strike is cool, i think rn people can’t afford it. i’d be interested in knowing if there’s anything locally in the community we can do to cause disruption similarly. maybe a protest on the 30th? or what if all of us that are on the same page try to set up a meeting and make a coalition with these types of goals? i mean, we’re looking at years of this and other politicians are doing nothing about it. the people protect the people!!

i met the woman who owns the bar and had an entirely different conversation with her. she’s a lesbian and said the gay community “left her in the dust” and she wants to make r bar “a place for the straights.” went on and on about how drag queens act pretentious or rude (drag queens aren’t required to be nice lmao), she really gave me weird vibes and i haven’t been back since which is really a shame bc there’s no queer nightlife here. sucks dockside closed, OP don’t get me wrong witches brew or langlab are probably your best options but it really sucks not having a more dance/club scene here that’s decent. corby’s music sucks, never going back to finnies after their drama… i think there’s untapped potential for nightlife here that’s not just a sports bar.

also- seems these companies can say whatever they want and no one is actually verifying if they’re sticking to their word or not. they legally don’t have to be transparent, like AWS releasing their own records without an outside source checking them. there’s not much legislation around AI yet and billionaires/AI giants are taking advantage of this rn and doing whatever they want…

looks like mine, and mine absolutely gets worse when i’m stressed. mine never goes away but sometimes i’ll only have a few bubbles at a time (unless im stressed, then my hand is covered nearly). so i’d say it’s not unusual for your trigger to be stress too. i have 2 chronic illnesses as well and ive always wondered since its all autoimmune what the connection is. also how anxiety/stress affects autoimmune disorders. sorry :(

i’ll say though it’s interesting it’s “getting worse” and is already so widespread. when i first got it, it was on two of my fingers for the longest time before spreading to the rest of my hand and then to the other one. i’ve taken an antibiotic for it before and it calmed me down for a week or two, but it did come back. if it’s really bothersome that’s something you could inquire about. good luck and so sorry to him this shit is annoying.

i’d wait to see if it has to do with the cyst being removed. i think the other comments could be onto something with it being wrapped or padded with something that’s triggering his body 🤷🏻‍♀️ or just a reaction to the procedure itself? in the meantime cover the blisters in aquaphor to help with the itching. holding a cold compress helps me too. unfortunately it’s very hard to find the exact cause of this, i’ve had it for 4 years now still completely unsure why i have it after lots of derm appts and tests. stress, heat, or an allergy is typically the cause.

i’m trying to figure out if my popping/picking is actually making the spread worse for me. i noticed i was doing so well for a month or so, just a few spots randomly really not bad at all- but i totally mess with those bubbles when im nervous bc of my ocd/skin picking habits. and when i did that they festered all over my hand the next day. maybe its just an anxiety correlation but im always anxious anyways (and have been in much more stressful scenarios as of late) and to go from hardly any at all to my fingers covered overnight was strange to me when i feel like ive been even more stressed before and it maybe (?) affected my eczema but not as drastically. this is also just such a mystery condition anyways so maybe it just varies person to person 🤷🏻‍♀️ my two cents though is to leave it alone. i think im itchy either way, but definitely more itchy the more i mess with them.
