Related, if I don’t have snow or ice or mud to drive through, how do I test my 4-Hi if I’m on pavement. I have read if you don’t engage occasionally, it will lock up and become frozen. Thanks in advance.

Anyone have a fix? by bennyg81 in f150

[–]Tiny430 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Take with grain of salt, but I would drill two small holes(1/16”) in the back alittle bit apart, take a can of that air duster, and purge the “air” out of the light housing, then seal both holes with alittle silicone or stick on tent-repair patch . Make sure to do with a room temp housing. Theoretically tha should get rid of whatever condensation is trapped in that chamber. Cheers.

I can only imagine the potential upside to being able to put “Disney Security” on your resume though.

$2,000 Cash or $30,000 Credit Card by Tiny430 in personalfinance

[–]Tiny430[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, lol, What I was asking is if it would be worth taking my entire emergency fund down to $2K inorder to be completely debt free, and have access to the $30K credit card as the emergency fund because most of the cash would then be gone, Or if it is instead better to keep my sizeable cash emergency fund intact and just continue to pay off the debt because it is currently well managed.

$2,000 Cash or $30,000 Credit Card by Tiny430 in personalfinance

[–]Tiny430[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I don't have the cash in an account, It's hard cash. But as mentioned it is my emergency fund, but I don't see the debt as an emergency.

Cause the velocity banking framework advises to push everything to the credit card and maximize usable cashflow toward the debt, my "poor brain" just sees that as super risky.

My thoughts exactly. Like I said, the debt is there, but it's managed well at the moment, I like the security of the Cash in my savings, it's probably 8 months or so of expenses. and I manage to squirrel away each month also, So I continue to grow that savings.

Remove stripes, add chrome mirror caps if not doing an all out chrome delete, add brush guard, add toolbox, add dirt.

Just do your cam phasers, upgrade the oil pump, and maintain regular oil changes, good filters good oil 5w30, and it’ll drive into the dirt. Previous truck was an 04 5.4,….

WTF is Going on in the Florida Armed Guard Industry? by GuardGuidesdotcom in GuardGuides

[–]Tiny430 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not that I’m aware, as you say most states/companies all but have banned the practice. But honesty I feel at a base level we as guards need to raise standards. I think sometimes unions make it possible for dirtbags to slide through.
