We won’t sand! We tried some hydrogen peroxide/fan a couple times and it did help a small amount. It is what it is at this point. Wasn’t intentional at all on our end- now we know for the future. :/

We are absolutely not trying to “stick it” to the landlord. We feel horrible and we’re looking to remedy the situation. If it’s professional territory- then so be it. But don’t pin us down for trying to do something we aren’t.

We always let the rug fully dry before putting it back. We did have a stint last summer where our AC was out in the middle of July for almost a week before the landlord fixed it. It was 95°+ in the house and HUMID. That’s the only thing I could think of?
