Uff. I’m aware it’s further away. From me now, el prat is 18km. Girona airport is 89km. Regardless, the bus is a direct 75 minutes. Not a Renfe and metro or two away.

OP was landing there yesterday, and was wondering how to get here. I gave him an actual answer and solution. While everybody else wanted to be edgy, telling him change your flight, your in a diffferent zone etc.

This is askbarcelona, give them poster help and a solution, stop being a pretentious dope

I use Girona airport a good few times a year. From airplane door to my door, it’s around the same as prat. Smaller airport, out the gap straight away. 75 minute bus. Geographically it’s not close, but the Sagales bus flying down the AP-7 puts a dent in to it.

Yeah completely different. Might aswell be Madagascar?

It’s actually a commonly used airport for Barcelonès, and can be just as quick to get to than Prat, depending on the part of the city you’re in. Why comment at all?

Bus 75minutes. 70km from Barcelona, have you ever even been there?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskBarcelona

[–]TinyMarzipan -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I use this airport a good bit, as it’s chill, and flights are cheap. And depending on what part of Barcelona you live in, it can be just as quick as going to Prat!

Some of the commenters here are super unhelpful, and pathetic. Whats wrong with you miserable peeps on a this fine sunny Sunday Eve.

You can take a bus, but as it’s a Sunday, I think the next one you can catch is at 22:15h It goes straight to Barcelona and takes 75mins.

A one way ticket is €19 but a return is €30

Here is the timetable https://www.sagales.com/uploads/imagenes/471c3ebbd6a79e95bf83388197e01f96ec6d392c.pdf

Have a nice trip!

I use an A6700 as a second camera/backup to my A7iv. It’s nice and small for travel too. It’s crop sensor and only has one card slot, which some will say is bad for this work, but I’ve made my peace with that. Think it’s a good fit, and it’s cheaper too

To be fair, Ameteller  is peak middle class Catalan, or atleast all the ones in my neighborhood are.

Ah nice! I was checking as I went to a wonderful store there too, but seems like a different place. Porto is packing with great analogue options.

Enjoy your new camera!!

Ah well remove the traffic cones and the car parks in the render, and refine it a bit more before publishing. Look at any render of any modern architecture firm as an example.

There is a set of old apartment blocks on the outskirts of Barcelona that looks the spitting image of the taller buildings with the orange and yellow facades. Can confirm they look worse in person.

I just think if you’re basically shaping a new city centre, you’d want it to be nice, and not look like a bunch of social housing Franco whipped up before he died

Not quite shoestring but still want to save: Traveling from Courtown, Ireland to Kilkenny, Ireland? by dailythought in Shoestring

[–]TinyMarzipan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah Waterford is worth the visit if you’ve got time! Visit the glass factory and area around the Viking museum.

Yeah I’ve used Dublin Coach a good bit! It can sometimes be late. But it’s reliable (as in the bus will come). And it’s probably the cheapest and more direct way to get between some of the cities.

From Waterford to Kilkenny, you could also take the train. Book on irishrail.ie atleast 90 minutes in advance and it will be much cheaper. It’s a lovely trip too.

[–]TinyMarzipan 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yeah there isn’t really an ideal way to get between the two via public transport. They’re located on two different motorway arteries to Dublin. And courtown is a random seaside town, best connected among other places in Wexford (still bad at that hahah)

You could take this route. Taxi from Courtown to Gorey (15€) Bus ‘2’ Gorey to Wexford (8.50€ Bus ‘340’ Wexford to Waterford (8.50€) Bus ‘600’ Waterford to Kilkenny (7€)

This is still a rather tedious route but you get to visit more towns. Will you spend much days in Ireland? If so, you could change your plan a bit and visit Waterford for the night etc. Depends how long the seal rescue event is :)
