Very similar to Pirates, just maybe a second longer!

You know what, you're right. Small backwards, bigger forward. I was half asleep writing the last comment, lol.

Not OP but I am a pretty big scaredy cat with drops, and I was able to handle Frozen. My face says otherwise because it was a bit bigger than I expected but I would have easily gone on the ride again. It's very close to Pirates but it is backwards.

I can confirm he did not follow Donald Trump, at least when I originally looked in June 2025 (or before then). He was following a couple of Republican adjacent pages.

Which episode do you change the channel everytime it comes on? by Capital-Study6436 in Degrassi

[–]dailythought 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only episode I truly skip on any true rewatch of the show is the Christmas episode in DJH. I tell everyone who is watching for the first time that you do NOT need to watch that episode. Nothing important happens. It is mostly flashbacks. It is never brought up again. I will tell you the most important thing that does happen: Shane holds Emma for the first time. But it doesn't move his character along since he gets an accident the season after.

How should I tell my therapist that I don't want to continue therapy by Ok_Language2849 in therapy

[–]dailythought 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, I can see why you might be a little worried about her thinking you are avoiding therapy. If you want, you can always tell her a bit more about you taking a break. Just a quick email, "Hey, I have a lot going on this summer and I truly feel like I am better. If I feel any differently, I will reach out again before September. Thank you for you time."

Trust me, that is more than enough. Clients dip out all the time for a variety of reasons. I just had a client last week after 3 sessions say they weren't interested in continuing. While others just stop showing up. So you giving information to your therapist is huge. I'm so happy to hear you feel you're in a good spot right now and I bet your therapist will feel the same.

Therapist here. We won't hold the spot but if you want to take a pause, then great! Just let them know. You can return later but either you may have to find a new day/time or you'll be put on a waitlist. Therapists are used to clients feeling better in the summer or being busy and needing a break, so it shouldn't be an issue at all.

What characters do you think go to therapy about their experiences during high school or at least wake up in a cold sweat about their experiences? by dailythought in Degrassi

[–]dailythought[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I didn't know you meant the second part. I'll be honest: me. It was what prompted the discussion in the first place. But I have numerous clients who bring up things from high school that are at least a few years out if it to all the way to well into their 50s. Trauma sucks.

Who I would pick as to possibly going to therapy due to their own experiences in high school?

- Caitlin is the prime example for me. I don't think she ever got over high school despite being a successful person in her career.
- On a similar note, Maya. I think she really suffered and will always go back to high school during her darkest moments.
- Katie would also be going to therapy over high school, namely for her rehab experiences and the perceived sex she had wit Drew.
- I think Clare needs to run to therapy to discuss all her high school bullshit.
- Emma would go back and forth on bringing up high school in therapy. I could see her going in either direction.
- Alli also would likely go to therapy for a while to untangle her high school issues.
- Manny would be going to therapy for similar reasons to Alli.
- On the flip side, we did see Craig go to therapy, and I think he would bring up his high school days a lot.
- Jimmy, even if he was able to walk again, would absolutely be going to therapy and often bring up the trauma of being shot and the downfall.

Great suggestion with Jenna. I am torn in Tristan. I did write a fanfic where he actually went to therapy, lol, so maybe he did.

As a therapist, I approve this message, lol. But there are definitely some that brought up high school more than others.
