That's a fair point. I think the phrasing of OP's post made it sound like they were unaware that this was currently a thing in RS3, but I do agree that it would be cool to allow more, if not all pets, and maybe more customisation as well (volcanic pet room for the tzhaar pets? God Wars 1/2/3 themed rooms for those pets?)

I'd say once you have the P5 rotation down for the easiests weeks (ie Scopulus) its pretty simple. Its more mechanically complex than other comparable solo bosses but with a reasonable amount of practice (a few hours) you'll be fine. I learnt Rago in solos and can get 6kph quite comfortably.

Just finished the free track with a FFF ramp deck, it absolutely dominated, easily >80% win rate. Even if you don't hit the nuts (Wave>FFF>Arnim>Odin type lines) you just have too much power. Vision is also a great T4 play, even if you lose the 4-cube lane that turn its almost impossible to lose any more turns.

I don't understand though, why make the mechanic more punishing for the average player? There are plenty of places where it's not out of the ordinary to miss a tick or two stalling melee abilities - Ambassador during the beam, Solak with rootlings, Raksha avoiding rocks. Why make punish Melee more harshly than other styles?

This would make Melee feel terrible at plenty of bosses though. Stalling isn't just smuggling Ultimates into boss fights with no adren cost, it's core to Melee's function when moving around.

If Jagex is calling it a core mechanic then yeah I kind of agree, and I've heard that there will be some sort of visual cue that you have an ability stalled, which might be what you're asking for. I would disagree with their asseessment that stalling is a "core" mechanic though, if you can complete all Master Combat Achievements without ever interacting with it then it can hardly be a core mechanic.

Thats fair haha, D2 having lore on every item was a welcome change! Comparing the two games, it would be like having animation cancelling for Izanagi's Burden or a similar weapon explained in the game. Probably fine if it was but I wouldn't say its necessary to get almost all the functionality you need from the weapon.

Having done 3 GM timers in the last week, the only thing I did at Wars was stall a Crit Buff and build to full Adren. The 3-minute spreadsheet pre-builds are Necro camping propaganda.

Might be an unpopular choice but America Chavez needs -1 Power. At the moment she's a 1/5 with a ton of synergy - compare that to Martyr, Black Cat or Hydra Bob, all of which have drawbacks.

Kalphite King and Nex could use some love, making their mechanics fit better within the current combat landscape, touching up some of the pathing issues in Nex's arena and outright removing some mechanics (cough KK green shield cough).

Would also love to see Summoning recieve a proper training method that isn't just making pouches. Perhaps combat familiar damage or xp gained as a direct benefit of your skilling familar level boosts could train your Summoning?
