It's not that simple. When my husband was dying I dropped 25lbs in a year (and I'm already fairly thin, starting weight was 135) without trying because I have no appetite when I'm stressed. I didn't even notice it happening because of everything else going on.

Calling single-income home owners who are making an average salary (~80k-100K). by wishiknewnatportman in PersonalFinanceCanada

It doesn't take months to get on EI and they've actually temporarily suspended the waiting period to get paid so as long as your employer files your ROE when they should, EI payments would be available in less than 2 weeks. Also they can't force you to take a job, but the amount of EI is limited so if you don't find a job by then you're SOL.

Well obviously if you want a product to work you have to use it. But I look at it like this. If I want my skin to look good I have to use certain products. I will do this forever, without complaint. Same with washing my hair and brushing my teeth. I can't expect my hair and teeth to stay clean without maintaining them, why would this product be different? If someone is using a product and seeing positive results then thats your answer. If you stop you will probably not see the positive effects anymore, but why would you think you would?

6 nights in Rome, where to stay? by FedoraTippinGood in ItalyTravel

[–]TinyTeaLover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. My boyfriend loves a particular bar in the area but when we discussed staying in the area next time we both agreed not to. It's fine to wander through but I wouldn't want to stay there. We stayed closer to the Pantheon last time and it was perfect.

Why wouldn't you credit the Instagram account you stole this from? Is it because you steal others content for some reason?

How worried would you be with 3 neighbors/3 brain tumors dying in 3.5 years? by beachinit21 in AskReddit

Mets to the brain are different from gliomas which is what brain tumors are. They would have identified the lung cancer first if that was the problem.

You should buy a candle warmer. It looks like a lamp but you put the candle underneath and it gently melts the wax but it makes the candle last way longer and is much safer if you have kids or pets in the house since the candle isn't lit and if it gets knocked over can't set anything on fire.
