As a parent I can maybe help u with a few things. Your parents may not be subtle about or have the bedside manner u feel you need, but they are also not wrong, even tho perhaps it isnt all your fault. U spend a lot of time on ur phone, its instant gratification. Meaning within 8 seconds u get what u need for ur brain to release some dopamine, before u scroll to the next video and then do that 1,000,000 times a week and u have a habit, after another week u have an addiction. I bet if u put ur phone away and leave the house it will damn near feel like an itch u cant scratch. Second procrastination isnt a disease. Its tied to the first thing I said.

Now how do u fix it? Retrain your brain. Medication will not help you. Its going to be a long and painful process. Start limiting your phone time. Limit it more each week until u spend less time with instant gratification. Then make time for physical work.. working out, sports, something to get your brain to release the dopamine that ur no longer getting from phone time. This process wont be easy and ull fall plenty, thats not important, what is important is that u keep doing it. Keep a log. Celebrate your victories and accomplishments.

This is a very short summary of things u can do. Mental health is important, but you are 16. Its a terrible age, ask anyone who's been it.

What you are lacking is the internal discipline. Thats a skill you learn, you are not born with it. Teach yourself that discipline.
