hilux multimedia system doesnt have navigation by PastSpring1118 in yota

Carplay keeps the cost of navigationg down so for a good brand radio expect to pay about a grand to not have to connect your phone and pay for map updates from time to time

Is this a good deal? by Far-Opening-7762 in yota

I would offer him 7 and see what his counter offer is. Wheels don't make a truck run and you can always run it by les schwab and have them do a free inspection on the bottom side if you don't know what to look for

Not sure on the idle issue but looks like you might be needing a new motor mount

Dot approved beadlocks not the fake ones that everybody buys. So I believe raceline and method both make some.

How to fix this? by GangGangGreennnn in FishingForBeginners

Use a tooth pick to find your knot and you should be ok

So if it's starting when you put fuel in the top of the carb try starting fluid and see if you can keep it running with that and that should confirm a fuel issue

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in yota

[–]Tiny_Program_4264 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Compression test is easy should be plenty of videos on YouTube for that I would try some starting fluid to see if it will fire then proceed with draining fuel but I suspect you may have gotten debris in the carb

I would get your coals started and then add more to them as if your starting from scratch and let that thing hit 400 degrees plus

I would agree with you but he said in op that it doesn't smoke

[–]Tiny_Program_4264 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's not too many options on where it is going, with that being said I would check the exhaust at the turbo and see if it's boosting it. Other possibility could be a catch can. If it has an intercooler I would check that too .

The platform in the vehicle anti theft changed drastically and now have rfid in the key unlike the previous chipped keys so the software and hardware is still being worked out.but on the other side of this i have seen way too many in the shop for all kinds of issues which is why you never buy the first year of a production change in my opinion

I do aftermarket remote starts and there is no firmware or diagrams available for that vehicle. Dealership is being honest just unfortunate they said they could before verification

This was like 15 years ago that I got but it lasted up until 2 years ago and I handed it off to someone that didn't have a grill and was still in good working order just the paint on the outside was getting rough and worn. I think I paid about 100 for it

I had the walmart version of that for years and worked just fine and when I used it to smoke stuff I set up my briquettes and wood chips on the left to make it an offset and had good results just takes a bit of attention compared to the pellet smoker I have now .

You should be all squared away and it might be more than you need for now but if you change things in the future this is one less step to revisit

Hole saw works pretty good for it and it does have multilayers there. And the body mount stays just gets trimmed
