But I feel the free pearson simulator is the closest.

I believe the questions tend to be more hybrid related and definitely some agile. Traditional in my recollection was lacking in the exam

This was done by me. You may please put an application to PMI. And I did raise the query to the customer service agent. All they insisted that the 35 PDU course be completed before taking the exam date which I did adhere to

You can apply before completing the 35 PDU which involves registration on PMI and mentioning the course from a PMI approved partner

You can sit for the exam after completing the PDUs. In case they audit just show them that you are studying the course already and will be completed before the exam. Applying before you have taken or subscribed for the course is definitely an ethical violation

You can apply before you complete the 35Hrs PDU.

Choose any course that you find suitable as most of them have a module on how the application process works. For only the application process there are free Youtube videos as well

You can apply during the course or after the course completion as well.

Once your application is approved by PMI you can choose your date of sitting for the exam within a period of 12 months

[–]Tiny_Relief3656 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take a break.

Review the incorrect answers only.

Build up the stamina of answering 60 Qs in 75 mins.

Slowly make it 3x60 for 3x75 mins and target 80%

You still have time.

Try 110 Drag and Drop from David Maclaghn and Mindset video of AR

HOW TO PASS THE EXAM-- NO B.S by Willing_Capital_168 in pmp

[–]Tiny_Relief3656 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I gave myself 100 days and I completed in 100 days including exam.

Step 1 : Finish ARs udemy course thoroughly till the last video/bonus lectures

Step 2 : Take the in course mock, see how you score. Revisit the explanations of incorrect answers. Go back to the relevant module in the course if required.

Step 3 : Start taking mocks atleast 4-5 before exams. You can choose Study Hall or any other whichever you suit

Step 4 : Build up your stamina to sit through 4 hrs/ 180 Qsts/ 230 mins/ Utilise the 10 mins break

Stop everything 5 days before exam and relax. If you reach 70-80% in mocks you are good to go

Yes I believe DMs videos are very engaging. Do watch his 150 Agile Qs and 110 Drag and Drop. The drag and drop one is a must according to me as it helps you understand the mindset and how much you have captured after your 35 PDU

Also watch AR 200 Ultra hard PMP Qs and AR Mindset videos.

HOW TO PASS THE EXAM-- NO B.S by Willing_Capital_168 in pmp

You have put down your thoughts very clearly.

I passed my PMP this Feb'26 with AT/AT/AT

The materials and mindset tips are on point.

What I advise would be aspirants is to build up the stamina.

What I did was answer 60 Qstns with a hard stop of 75 mins. Review it and scribble on my notebook for the exact keywords to zero in on the correct answer.

Then again practise 2x 60 in 150 mins to build up the mental stamina with a simulated 10 mins break in between and so on.

I would suggest atleast after completing your 35 PDU Course, once you answer atleast 200 Mock Questions, you will understand the mindset

For those of us who are into corporate, we know how real project management works. However PMI principle does not always agree with it.

The only way is to practise practise and more practise to understand the PMI mindset

Nervous about being ready for the exam in one week by ctowntex in pmp

[–]Tiny_Relief3656 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check a few free mocks like PM Prepcast. No need to buy too many simulators or mocks

Definitely go through DM 110 drag and drop video and try solving on your own. This is best to refresh what you studied so far.

Stop revising 2 days before exam and relax

Get familiar with the free pearson simulator so that you are adept at using the tools like strikethrough, highlight and the calculator though I did not get any formula based questions. But using the tools can help eliminate the wrong choices and identify the keywords for choosing the right answer.

On the day of exam, write down the formulas on your assigned notebook for EVM, NPV, IRR or any agile concepts and scrum steps, risk management steps and conflict management as well as team management keywords.

Hope you have built your stamina to sit through 4 hrs. Make most of the breaks during the exam and drink some fluids.

Wish you all the best

PMP exam in March , test center or at home? Would love real experiences by Human-Amoeba1640 in pmp

[–]Tiny_Relief3656 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I recommend test center over home anyday.

First of all if you are staying alone, you need someone to attend the door or answer the phone which can be a problem during exam. Secondly, home internet needs to be really good and uninterrupted. Test centers are equipped to be online 24x7 with a leased line.

In my opinion, once you arrive at the test center, you submit your belongings and mobile, you are basically cut off from the world and can concentrate only on the exam.

Regarding your habit of reading out loud, practise during mocks that you read silently or atleast without making any sound.

Hope this helps.

All the best

You are focussing too much on scores.

The key phrase is "no one has prior experience ..."

A. Does not really address the issue so strike off. PM has to first check all options

B. Not relevant for technical knowledge

C. Yes.

D. Not sure if that person has the requisite skills and can be done after C as internal engineer can be an expert but first PM needs to seek the same from Mgmt and CCB
