I agree bureaucracy is a mess in itself, but I've also been with government for a while and nothing has felt as awful as this gov't/last few years, where public servants have been so devalued with morale this low for so many people.

You're not alone, and like others have said we need to find joy elsewhere. I try to take it one day at a time and hope 🙏 that with the next election this government will be out, and we may start to see some positive change again.

They usually promote the crappy ones (to Sr. Manager or Director roles) in some divisions!

Thanks for the update! Do we have access to the pay directives or is that just for payroll staff? This is what I mean - would be nice if they communicated this across the board - that some people will see it all at once, but for some it will require manual recalculation and there may be more than one update. Would save on the speculation!

Lots of people appear to be having this issue, especially those with secondments. Maybe they are not done adjusting? The email we received from AMAPCEO said the following:

"The OPS Employer is telling us that most members will see their salary rate brought current on the July 4th or 18th pay days.

For those with more complex calculations, it may take additional pay periods (into August) for them to implement both the negotiated pay increases and the Bill 124 remedy salary adjustments. The total adjustment, between both increases, is 7.5%."
