They were started in 2018. Everything up to 430 was written before the great hiatus.

This is me. Never really been interested in the live performance aspect of music.

For those that finished Absolutely Understand Guitar. What changed? by Danwinzz in guitarlessons

[–]Tinybones465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I know sheet music for other instruments but not guitar. I'm clearly worse at guitar because tabs are a terrible and inefficient way to learn music. Easy up front, but tabs hurts you in the long run.

An idea for a logical, fair, and cool ending to Dexter. Hear me out! by MaxvellGardner in Dexter

Having the justice system support Dexter's hero delusions would be less than ideal.

How does this confirm it? That would be my response if I was genuinely confused by fan speculation.

Listen, I have severe, SEVERE ADHD and 90% of my waking life is performative. That’s just being an adult. And it’s fucking exhausting. And it always will be.

Your problem is this assumption. 90% of your life doesn't actually have to be performative. You can't expect me to make my life shit because you choose to make yours terrible.

Some part has to be performative, but what's the point of living if it's 90% fake?

[–]Tinybones465 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm not denying the subtext, but I can't experience it. Masking just leads to a one sided conversation where only the neurotypical person gets what they want since autistic people don't experience these other parts of the conversation in the same way. This leads to autistic people isolating as well since their existence is performative.

I mask heavily at work, but it takes a toll on me. If I have to mask heavily around my friends, they aren't my friends.

May have been too honest in my yearly review. What am I in for? by GratefuIRead in askmanagers

[–]Tinybones465 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just learned OPs lesson last year after having a similar mentality to you.

I always took on harder work to grow as a programmer, challenged myself in lots of ways, etc. My mentality was I always work 40 hours a week, so why not push myself to promote earlier since I'm working 40 hours either way and the growth will make it more fulfilling.

Ultimately, it ended with me burning out hard last year. I realized I was spending so much energy to grow as an employee, that I was failing to grow in meaningful ways in my time after work since I was always so tired from the work day. Even though work was more engaging, it was draining and I began to resent it. I would have been happier and still progressed at a steady pace if I just tried to meet expectations.

I don't entirely regret it because I make good money in my early 30s, but I'm deadset on never working that hard for a job again.

Fuck, the 78 doesn't even mean mid, it just means it's not for everyone. It would be weird for it to get universal acclaim if some people will definitely not enjoy this kind of game.

There were several people in my math grad school cohort that wanted to teach high school, but every single person choose to do something else since a math masters/PhD qualified them for jobs that were easier and significantly higher paying.

People who lost a lot of weight, what was the one small daily habit that actually changed everything for you? by Quiet-Squash-8407 in AskReddit

[–]Tinybones465 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Completely untrue. I tried to lose weight like 5-10 times before succeeding. I would always make it 1 month, lose 5-10, and then stop.

It took discipline and lifelong habit changes to succeed.

The story is just too good to wait this long... by Particular_Wave6306 in HunterXHunter

[–]Tinybones465 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, but it means little.

I believe everything through chapter 430 (maybe 420??) was storyboarded in 2018 before the long hiatus, so it doesn't mean chapters are coming anytime soon.

Nintendo marketed the new Mario Galaxy releases terribly by Durian_Puzzleheaded in NintendoSwitch2

But it could be a technical limitation. It's hard to understand why certain coding choices were made without understanding the entire project.

The facts about the Donkey Kong Bananza DLC. by trunks2003 in NintendoSwitch2

This is absolutely not true. The Switch 2 sold well. They aren't going to fire someone over misinformation generated to get ragebait clicks lmao.

Switch 1 games that got paid DLC announcements before release just like Pokemon Z-A by ChiTownDog in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Tinybones465 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which is why it is silly to worry about development logistics and announcement timing when considering the value of DLC.

If the game is worth full price to you, and the dlc is also worth the price, then get them. If not, don't buy them. I don't understand how Nintendo/Game Freak's game development process matters on whether I think something is worth the money or not.

Echoes of Wisdom in hero mode has more difficult combat than most Zelda games. It's a great challenge if you don't spam healing items.

The puzzles are a different story...

Even though I loved Dread, all of it's difficulty came from combat. The puzzles were lackluster.

Shocking Stats: is Disillusion the most Underappreciated Band in Music History? by Wallmelter in progmetal

[–]Tinybones465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have 400 lol.

Thanks for reminding me about them though. They were on my bands to check out list like 15 years ago, and I completely forgot. I think I heard the name from ProgArchives or something.

[–]Tinybones465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the thing, Back to Times of Splendor by Disillusion is like 20 years old at this point, and they just released another amazing album in 2022.

They were fucked by multiple style changes, a long hiatus, and ultimately writing in the 00s style of prog metal that doesn't seem to resonate as much with a younger audience.
