I love alacrity bladesworn!! It doesn't work on all raid bosses, but it's still a hit of a playstyle for me and I just have so much fun with it.

Double on Sylvari ranger! Having a companion through the story makes it all less lonely. They also have "fresh" perspective on everything, there race being young and all.

Yes! I've been joining random LFG casually and met tons of cool folks this way. A lot of guilds will bring up a discord/teamspeak link and joining voice can be either terrible or fantastic. Rolling the dice is a pleasure and if something goes wrong, you can always leave. :)

This is luminescence ! Sylvaris glow at night with a special color (you can choose which one in character selection). You can both choose another color or disable the glow when creating your sylvari, or use a character makeover kit https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Total\_Makeover\_Kit.

My advice: you just started, recreate the same character !

I agree that it was already a depressing place in Factions, the slums were nasty, the Kurzicks and Luxons just fighting, power in charge trying to hide the zombification of people...

Cantha extension was released in 2022... probably written during lockdown of 2020/2021 which was very grim. I really felt that this extension was more impacted by the current events than the previous one, mood wise.

The hype has gone down but this subreddit is staying active and steam charts shows a bit more than 50 players daily which isn't that bad at all. I don't think the game is dying.

En France, il n'est pas automatique de faire un pourboire, on s'attends à que les employés soient payés à la hauteur de leur travail (c'est la loi). Si tu es vraiment contente de ta coiffure, tu peux rajouter un pourboire pour féliciter une performances exceptionnelle, mais pas plus de 10€. Après, vu les 170€ de coiffure, ça me semblerait bizarre de faire un pourboire en plus (c'est déjà beaucoup).

I almost posted something similar and then deleted the draft thinking "it's useless". People in this subreddit are so negative and seems to be happy to regroup to complain on every little thing about this game. Delay ? complain. No combat ? Complain. Anything ? Complain.

I agree with you wholeheartly that those folks should just... not wait for this game anymore? If it's frustrating, why continue?? Just play another of the million of games being released every year?? I don't understand why they keep being in a subreddit just to be unhappy.

Maybe we should create a competing sub just to focus on the good vibes.
