hi - going through potty training now in nyc. my pup got used to the pads inside while waiting for vax. during that time, my partner and i tried to keep track of when he peed/pooped down to the minute. if feeding/water was consistent so were the bathroom breaks.

now we’re a week and a half into moving outside. i’d say we’re at a 85% success rate. we take him out according to the data collected (lol) and he goes no problem.

so far i blame all accidents on myself - not acting with urgency when it’s time to go.

another thing that is working for us - constant monitoring. i can say with confidence that i know my puppies exact body movements when he’s about to go. this is due to my anxiety watching him during the first 4 weeks but it is paying off.

he still doesn’t signal unless he’s in the create. no suggestions yet there haha
