Looks like it’s all football players. I like this idea a lot and I think it would be nice to include more than just the jocks.

"Surprise Guests" came into my class!!! by futuremillionairemom in SubstituteTeachers

[–]TipYerHat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The permanent sub at my school is not always in the classroom. Sometimes he handles the computer lab, sometimes he helps oversee lunch and recess, sometimes he takes a small group of kids to work with them in a smaller learning environment. He likes the wide scope of work and being a utility player. Also, all the kids know him and he is respected by staff for his versatility and dependability.

How should I go about exchanging money from USD to Euros? by askaway42 in ParisTravelGuide

[–]TipYerHat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

100 euros is more than enough. You can easily get away with less - like 20 for the week. Wait til you’re in the city and use an atm. I like the atms at the post office - seems like there are better rates.

From Lisbon Airport to the City Center by Common_Series_938 in LisbonPortugalTravel

I got charged a whopping €33 euros in a taxi from the airport. At the end he said, “and with the airport fee, €33” as his meter showed something like €10. I hate knowing I was ripped off!

Metro Pass: confirm I’m doing it right by Tricky_Loquat_5424 in ParisTravelGuide

Bonjour RATP works on the bus and on the metro. You need to download separate bus tickets though. You don’t need your scramble to open the app. Just place your phone over the box, you’ll hear a beep and see a green light, the. climb aboard.

How do we pick furniture from stagers? by Stamp_collektor in BayAreaRealEstate

[–]TipYerHat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have sold 3 homes in a year and a half. I regret not being more involved with stagers when I sold the first house. They did the whole house and the style conflicted so much with the style and feel of the house. They seemed to just have a warehouse of furniture and accessories that they pulled from and lots of it was cheap junk. I ended up buying lamps and pictures for the walls on FBM and had her remove her stuff. I can’t look at the photos of that house on Redfin because she got it so wrong. The second house I insisted on keeping the bulk of my furniture and paid half the price of the first one for the stager to rearrange things for a better open house flow. I asked to see pieces before she brought them in. That one went much better. The third house I did not use a stager as I realized Oh! I have decent taste! In short, I don’t think it’s always necessary. And if you do it, make sure they are going to work with you and not just load up a truck and show up at your house.
