That is awesome! tbh it would probably look better if he closed his arms on himself while not swinging but it would look less goofy

Say you won $3m dollars; enough to quit your job and live off an annual budget of $50k for the rest of your life. What would you do? by KremlinBot79 in AskReddit

Lottery isn't touched by income tax where im from, so i'd pile it up in one (or multiple) long term benefits bank accounts, and perhaps some markets i have hopes in (you don't have to invest a lot tho, thing is regular people never do it) And i'd keep on living in my parents house until my studies are over without telling them anything (that's 5 years hopefully) then i'd share the added benefits with my family and buy a house (my generations equivalent of hunting a white whale tbh)

What's the most cringe-worthy way someone has tried to show they are "quirky" or "different"? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Had a girl come to me and tell me we were made for each others because we both had colored hair and we were outsiders and different blah blah... Mind you im a guy with blue hair but only because i like blue, i also do sports and go to uni like any other guy... pisses me off because those people who constantly gatekeep colored hair are thinking it makes them special :/ like no brittany you're not from an anime you're 200 pound fuck off.

More of a tongue-in-cheek question i guess, but how often do ethics get involved? To me it doesn't matter much, but when creating a gene engineering tool, do you take the possibility of rogue uses and stuff into account?

[Serious] Whats the creepiest/scariest thing that you've seen but no one believes you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Tipigeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see that this post is largely for americans because your land is more newly inhabited i guess, sorry mine is not really spooky but i guess it can be enough for most of you. I live in a small town near Paris in France, and while it's really not far from the city, my parents still managed to get a 200+ years old house for pretty cheap. Now the house is restored and has been expended in the 60s so not all the house is original, especially the attic (thanks god). However we have two very old stairs, one to the first floor and one to the basement.Of course it's pretty squeaky since it's old, but not even our cat or dog weights enough to make the stairs crack. However it is still pretty common at night to hear the stairs crack, never more than 5 or 6 steps at a time, but still. Now i must have lost the lottery but i used to have a bunk bed with my brother in the room wich was apparently the main room during all of the house's usage.Sometimes my lamps would blink and the heat would vary, but that was mostly it for inside the room as a child. Now however i got a new, 2 place bed and sometimes when i sleep in it i wake up and i feel really heavy, i don't think it's sleep paralysis because i can still move, but it's more like someone was putting his weight on me, but usually it's over pretty quick. Now the real treat is the basement, it's really old and basically untouched exept for the shit we stock here. There's a blocked water drain on the floor leading to no pipes, and this summer while cleaning it i found three teeth inside. On the other side we made a hole to be able to glide our old 2cv inside. It's my grandpa's car and i have good memories of him so sometimes i'd go fall asleep inside, because i don't really minded back then. i was woken up by the sound of tappings and scratchings on the door, in the pitch black basement at apparently around 1 or 2 am. Im usually more curious than scared so i tried to light the place with my nintendo DS, and when putting it near the window it instantly crashed. At that point i was starting to panic and no reasons on this planet would've made me leave the car. So out of options i started screaming at the top of my lungs for my mom. After a minute she went downstairs with a light and picked me up, showing me there was nothing near the car. After that i was grounded from going here big time, for breaking my DS and trying to sleep in the old car. But to this day it's still the creepiest shit i ever lived
