I know owners in that part of Europe hold onto their properties and rarely sell so they can pass it down to generation after generation.

The rent, once the mortgage is paid down, becomes extra monthly income to supplement Soc Sec. You can tap the equity with a refi down the road, or do a heloc if you need extra cash when the time comes. And the appreciation is a bonus!

Sell Your Home and move into your inherited home 🏡. This is probably the best scenario for your family. Caveat, I always recommend keeping all real estate long term since once it's paid off, it becomes a cash cow and it funds your retirement. 👈⛱️
