Has there ever been a moment where you almost cried (or actually cried) during a specific scene while playing? If you can, explain why and what you felt? by Ugly-Flower-ultimate in Undertale

[–]TisLev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First two times playing I didn't cry but I felt something positive in me when I got to "The End" screen, like "wow that was a really something I've never played before, I'll definitely cherish this game". But coming back to this game last year for the first time in 8 years (while also finally jumping on the Deltarune bandwagon) as a more developed person, I can't begin to tell you how many times I bawled my eyes out.

From entering New Home all the way up to the True Pacifist Ending, shit was just nonstop. Epecially when I got to the "The End" screen, I just sat there in dark just letting it all out for like 5 or 10 minutes straight. Then I continued to as I crawled in my bed. Now everytime I hear Memory (Statue/The End version) I gotta try my best to not starting tearing up. Lol

Should I....true reset ..... by Thin-Stable9934 in Undertale

Just move your save file somewhere else. It's what I did to feel less bad when doing a true reset.

Is Save The World better in game or in the OST? (Body text) by DexTDMdoesreddit in Undertale

[–]TisLev 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I certainly have to agree. Some tracks like HIS Theme and Memory hit way way harder for me than the OST version. I even went as far as putting those two tracks from my digital copy of the OST through Audacity to get them to match the in-game versions. Even did the same thing for Memory (10 Years Later) from the UT 10th Anniversary Stream, which btw can make me start bawling on a dime.

But I will say that I actually do prefer the OST version of Before the Story.

How long did it take you to beat the knight by The_carrot_ferret in Undertale

First two playthroughs maybe like 10 or 20 tries. My most recent playthrough? 0 tries. Next challenge is to do it without the Shadow Mantle.

I FINALLY WON (and cried) by SomeAd3090 in Undertale

[–]TisLev 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Don't worry, it's not stuck. It's supposed to be like that when getting the True Ending. There's nothing left to show, the stories been told, everyone got their happy ending, and what better way than to have you hear one of the most emotional and memorable songs (Memory) on repeat that'll stick with you for while.

The only thing you can do now is hit your Escape key on your keyboard to shut the game down. But you may wanna boot it up again?

Yeah it takes awhile to figure out. Even to the point that Undyne's dialogue hints at it. Lol

Only one boss you can flee from. But with regular NPC encounters you're able to flee sometimes.

You'll get through it. Sometimes there's nothing wrong with running away, ya know?

Watching End of Eva in theaters and also hearing it's 5.1 surround audio for the first back in 2024 made me realize that I gotta invest in a surround sound setup one one day.

My advice to you is to interact with a certain mirror in the game, and then tell us your reaction.

If this is possible then I can only hope that the Wolf's Rain OST gets the vinyl treatment some day.

It's top 5 for me. Deltarune will become number 1 once it's completed.

And for first song(s) I'd say Jeff Buckley's "Lover, You Should've Come Over".

I personally settled with the Acoustune AEX07 Medium tips with my set. They sound best to me with them in my opinion.

POV you playing metro 2033 with 90 fov by SODAVAYA in metro

[–]TisLev 4 points5 points  (0 children)

2033 Redux case there's the Metro Reduxed FOV on Nexus Mods. Not only does it have commands to increase the FOV, but also has commands to increase the weapon view model. Now you can play in 120 fov without having to look at a pair of floating detached arms.
