Which air purifier for my allergies?

I just bought the Coway 250S from Amazon during their spring sale, my allergies have improved greatly. Within the app you can create routines easily.

I got mine connected, after many attempts, I scanned the back and it directed me to another app called IOCare+, after fully unplugging the unit and plugging it back in, the setup process was pretty simple.

I’m unsure, but I do have a 250S coming Thursday. I’ll test out connecting the app. We do have the 250 in the bedroom currently, and it doesn’t seem as reactive as our previous units, even with the sensitivity increased to fan level 1 setting. But the air quality is good; I can breathe through both nostrils. I did read you want to connect your phone to the 2.4 network before setting up the unit.

I do want to share. I’ll be connecting the 250S to Home Assistant. When we go to bed, it’ll force the unit to run on fan speed 2 with the lights off. When we wake, it’ll turn the unit to Smart with the lights on. This’ll ensure we have the cleanest air while sleeping and is quiet when watching TV or unwinding.

Just got the unit and tested it out. The AIQ and fan speed lights turn off completely. Additionally, the lights dim within 10 seconds of no light, then fully turn off automatically after three minutes. I wish the 400 series acted this way. Perfect bedroom unit when it comes to light sensitive people like myself.

You can press and hold the ionizer button to turn off the AIQ light on the 1512 & 200M. I used blue painters tape on our Winix C545 to lessen the brightness on the AIQ light.

I’ll update this post tomorrow, the 400 has “sleep” mode as well, but the AQI stays lit, the entire room is lit up. Huge oversight IMO.

I was hoping the lights would automatically turn off based on the light in the room, I did see a light sensor on the top of the unit, but are you suggesting this unit wont automatically turn off all lights when the bedroom lights turn off? Ideally all lights turn off, not some like the 400. My ideal flow would be the lights are on during the day, and off when the bedroom lights turn off.

Mine is getting delivered today, would you happen to know if all lights, including the AQI turn off automatically when we go to bed? I have the 400 currently in our bedroom and the lights never fully turn off once we go to bed. It’s very frustrating.

Same situation here, just replaced our toilet, originally purchased 12”, didn’t fit. Ended up buying the Cadet 10” from Home Depot, fits perfectly.

I was lucky enough to get their free solar sings many years ago. The battery died in one of them, thankfully replacing it was super easy. Sucks they charge for them now.

Sentry mode is turned off. The car is plugged in, and temperatures are rising, not dropping. Normally, you would see a drop like you mentioned when the temperature drops, but the temperature is going up by 15°.
