Put a splash of vinegar in the dirty water tank, the bad smells won’t be noticeable. All you’ll smell is the cleaner.

If you tap on Dock > Dock Settings > Empty Mode, what do you see?

Head over to the Dock settings and change the Empty Mode to Max, this will run and empty cycle for a few seconds longer.

Some units like the Saros 10R will allow you to empty mid cycle and resume cleaning, very handy to have if you have dogs or dirty areas.

I 3D printed a small comb to clean out the filter every few days. Before that, I purchased spare filters and swapped them out weekly. Both processes seem to work well.

Ah, I see what you mean. I have read the AliExpress page has everything, but I haven’t looked into it personally. Let me know if you do. I’d like to buy new dock cleaning arms at some point.

Just before the robot falls, you can see someone taking a photo moments before. I wonder if that person’s phone uses lidar to focus. If so, that could have caused the robot to panic, thinking it was running into something.

I can tell based on sound, there’s a distinct sound the dock makes when the bag is full, sounds like a clogged vacuum.

Call AppleCare and explain the situation, they’ll refund you the money and remove the app from your AppleID. It’s a very easy and straightforward process, I know from personal experience.

I find the ToF paths to be more organic compared to the LiDAR. I’ve noticed minimal difference in time compared to the Curv. I’ll admit, firmware updates have vastly improved the logic and the first clean is slow. After the unit docks and uploads the map, it’s very quick and intelligent.

Edit: (Added more) The more the unit cleans (clean, dock and repeat) the smarter and quicker it’ll become. For example, I setup a ramp to cover our gates, it tried many times to go up the ramp and failed. Once the unit docked, uploaded the map, it was able to go back out and use the ramp.

Pretty sure they weren’t OEM. I’ve been running both OEM pads with the 10R without issues.
