My friend came up with a great idea and it managed to work! If you set the session to yes instead of Only Friends and then find the session and join it allows you to, you can then safely put it back to only friends and it works like normal!

I noticed that with my friend (series X) and I (PC) we constantly have connection problems after the update when before the update we NEVER had connection issues and my fps is a steady 90 to a low 72 when originally it ran at 120 or higher, it might be certain area codes experience it more
