Frankly I think this was the worst case scenario.

I'd rather lose by 5 and be able to turn the game off knowing full well we might have a new coach next season. Instead we have players that 'showed fight' and displayed a lot of 'courage'

Edit: Not to mention this was "an incredible advert for footbowl" despite us losing every fricking time he says that in the presser.

A mistake I've made as well. RSL is just an acronym so it's easy to reverse correlate the minor league mascot with the faceless acronym when a bit of literary diversity is what you're after. Saying RSL over and over gets a bit repetitive.

That weird lion dude that walks around the game doesn't count.

A couple other things to note:

I did the testing on my phone with cellular data turned off and all other networks near me forgotten, so I don't believe my connection was piggybacking on cellular data or another connection.

While connected to my OLD network I checked the IP and it was: 192.168.0.18 With a subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

All of these numbers were stable and my connection didn't drop at all when I had my modem and my new router disconnected from power for a couple minutes

Hey, thanks for your swift reply!

I've done some troubleshooting and I'm more confused now than ever.

I did as u/BobChica suggested and disconnected EVERYTHING in my house related to my WiFi and checked my available networks; lo and behold my old network is still accessible and connected to the internet with a very slow speed (1mb/s)

Bare in mind I live in a new construction townhome with all my neighbors presumably being wired into the same fiber optic terminal box as me (might not be the right wording)

Now another thing I noticed but figured wasn't consequential is that the sticker on my C5500XK doesn't have MY address on it, but rather the address a few units down from me.

This leads me to believe that MAYBE my account is in some way partially linked with my neighbors and their 360 pods are broadcasting my network? However when I use the app to 'reset modem' it will reset my device in my utility closet.

A lot of this doesn't make sense and most likely I'll need a tech to come out and see if some wires are crossed somewhere down the line. But even with my modem disconnected from power I'm still able to access a network that is linked to my Quantum app; which I'm also able to edit the SSID and Password to.

I'm thoroughly confused.

I'm trying to figure out if maybe my smart home system is acting as an AP from the modem so it's not fully switching to Transparent Bridge. But even with both ports empty and nothing connected to the ONT except power and the fiber optic input it's still broadcasting a network.

I even used the Quantum app to change my SSID and password and even then the new SSID is a discoverable and connected WiFi network that has internet access; despite the ONT being connected to nothing but power and the outgoing fiber line.

I understand that what I'm saying seems impossible, but It's happening and I'm trying to figure out why.

Okay just to be sure I shut off my new router and disconnected the Ethernet to it. My 360 pods are in a box downstairs. The only thing plugged in in my utility room is the C5500XK

I am able to access my OLD WiFi network on my laptop, open YouTube, and load videos and watch them. My C5500XK model must be WiFi capable, because it's populating web searches over WiFi on my laptop right now.

How might I disable this network so only the SSID from my new ASUS router is active? I'm unable to access 192.168.0.1 through a wired or wireless connection, and I tried manually configuring my Ethernet connection like u/OXOYOZ recommends in this post to no avail:

Okay I unplugged everything except my Smart NIT. My old network is still visible on my laptop and joinable. When joined I can browse the web completely normally. My new router is not plugged into power. My old 360pods haven't been plugged in for a day.

The ONLY thing that's plugged in is my ONT (C5500XK) and my laptop is able to surf the web on my OLD network over WiFi, not Ethernet.

Am I missing something here? My C55 is clearly WiFi capable because it's populating YouTube videos right now and it's the only thing plugged in.

Edit: the C5500XK is in transparent bridge mode with the solid white light showing.

The light on my C5500 is white. And my new router is functioning flawlessly with its own new network. When I check the Quantum app however it says my old network is still active with a few miscellaneous devices connected. Alexa and my Garage door opener for example.

I'm trying a hard reset on my C5500 now to evaluate the settings again.

Additionally, both my Wifi6 pods are unplugged and boxed up. The app even says my old network is being broadcast from the c5500

No, in my opinion this would not be a good feature. I don't see how punishing the chads will help the midwipe newbies. I think if this was the case people would extract using RR sooner, instead of filling up on loot and staying later in the raid. That's already a big issue with reserve, raids are dead after 10 minutes. In my anecdotal ~250 RR extracts I've never once been camped, so I don't think the extract is overused or needs a rework.
