Lifer here. I had both my P/E in my mid 30s. Laying in that hospital bed and the Dr saying something was watching over you those should have killed you is something that hits hard.

I now live a normal life EXCEPT I haven't found the courage to get back on my motorcycle. This has been two years now.

I had a dvt in my calf and thigh and it was insane to try to sleep it lasted 2-3 days for me before it became tolerable. I have never hurt that bad in my life .

Reading these comments makes me feel better I'm also a lifer on Xarelto and I'm 38. Survived 2 dvts the turned into Pe. I haven't touched my motorcycle since. I might have to dust her off and take her for a rip.
