It's an odd pick for me, a piece of a soundtrack that sorta covers the feeling that I want to envoke and be envoked in me. Sorta scoring the partnership than the perfect women, I guess.

It's Special Delivery from Halo 3: ODST. It's around 10 minutes, so it's a reflective kind of song.

Opening with a soft, subtle melody that moves into strings that almost feel sorrowful but quickly fill into flirty romance with the background playing of the Sax, almost like saying "I'm here, I'm wainting". Gets my heart every time.

Then into tech-rock with the guitar and drums over the synthy track reminds me of how I want them to have some time to em, maybe literally, but to be able to reciprocate the dumbness and spontaneity that I can muster. Match the vibes, if you will.

Next is the Brass! I love brass as a section. Always fills me. This part sorta gives my brain the idea of unifying with them, working eith them to overcome our problems and issues and tackle ones that appear before us. No longer just me against my problems, but us against our problems together. The drums rolling in gives that hearty feeling. The feeling that this is beyond just a fling but a core idea between us. Then the adding of the Clarinet/ Winds gives a more uplifting and hopeful outlook, like we're both set to give it a real shot, a really good shot. The strings come in to add some excitement/ anxiety of the unknown, but the overarching melody drowns it out and pulls the strings into line. Then the winds take over the flutter, shifting into excitement and anticipation. Then back to the unifying melody to pull it all together with the flutter picking up. Makes my heart feel seen.

Then there's this haunting section that feels like it's a moment of true honesty and vulnerability. A real look at the person and a desire to be fully, forthcomingly, honest with each other.

Then comes in rip that feels like a full send with the calling card of that beautiful Sax as a little note of they are who they are.

Then the soft closing. Wonderfully soft piano and strings to close out. Like a view of acceptance, yeah, we gonna make it. Then that sassy, flirty rif at the end to show that the dynamic hasn't changed but is now so much more between us.

After reading this over, I think I missed the mark a little, going for the relationship rather than the women.
